Please pretty please don‘t Go there. Comparing the CR-Transfer with a possible Dybala one is so so so far off. Ronaldo cost over 110mln € on fees plus a yearly gross of around 70mln € which makes it an operation worth over 300mln €.
Dybala would cost around 16mln € per year which is basically Sanchez and Sensi together. For the next four years it would mean a total cost of 64mln € which is five times less than Ronaldo. Please do your maths before saying something like this. As to him possibly joining us I won‘t Go into Deep detail as the chance is probably very low considering he is a player of Juventus, but if Marotta manages to pull this one off we are at the start of a Bayern like era.
I made the analogy for expectations not the price. I know very well the price.
Brehme made in other thread a calculus, that seems pretty realistic. We have more or less ca 22m for salaries to fit 4 players.
We need an alternative to Dzeko. Simone liked to play with such a striker and Dzeko is washed now. You cannot rely on him alone. If we take Dybala we will have Dybala, Lautaro, Correa and Dzeko. I am not so sure Lautaro and Dybala will fit together as a duo. You need another striker like Dzeko. And the 3 argentinos will be redundant.
We have 3 functional midfielders. In summer we need anther 2 for rotations. Vidal, vecino and Sensi will be out. Gags can have the 6th spot.
We need also another relaible CB. We were lucky that all our 3 CB were injury free in 2and half years. But this is not a guarantee.
So, in summer we need a CB, 2 MD and a Dzeko alternative. That's assuming Perisic will stay. Even if Dybala will cost 16m/y, how will you fill the other positions, assuming we want relaible players and not stop gaps. With Dybala tha whole roster could be weaker.
So that's more the risk to start a downward spiral when we need to sell from our better player to reequilibrae the roster, than another Byern era. That's happened to Juventus.
This is the risk. And you know who is pretty conservative in these situations. Don Beppe. That was the reason he was against signing Ronaldo and leave Rube.
If on the other hand we sell Lautaro for like 60-70m and bring Dybala, that another story. We have money to Buy Scamacca (let's say 40m).Scamacca and Dybala will fit nivcely. We have money to buy a good young midfielder (Frattesi for example). and the other positions could be filled with free agents. This scenario made a lot of sense. we will be better and more balanced.
But Dybala alone plus Lautaro and Correa, that's doesn't make sense.
