I vaguely remember Cavani saying he would play in any role for Inter back then. Too bad how things panned out.

According to Foot Mercato, La Joya has asked his entourage to make an approach to PSG and see if they are prepared to offer him a contract.

It would not be the first time Dybala was linked with Paris Saint-Germain and it comes on the same day that RMC Sport claim Mauro Icardi has been told to find a new club this summer.
Never heard of this source, did any of you? :yao:

P$G for sure have money to pay his agent that fat commission ;)

Romano says we've got to sort a few things before landing Scamacca (ie: we're broke) and that the door is open for Dybala.
Yeah. Romano links Scamacca with the future of Vidal, Sanchez and Pinamonti. I am not buying this. It's entirely up to Inter to decide what they're going to do with the Chileans. It's not like anyone is going to offer money for either of them. Also how is Pinamonti involved in this? Is there a scenario where Pina stays at Inter next season?

Imo they're waiting to see if Lukaku, Dybala or another established forward is a realistic option. Else they will close for Scamacca.

They're a French source. Their reliability is a bit hot and cold. Honestly with the departure of Mbappe i wouldn't be surprised if PSG made a move for Dybala.

More like 10. Benitez wanted Cavani in 2010 but it depended on Inter selling Milito as he wanted to be a starter.
Yeah, but last one was leaving PSG, then thinking about some place in La Liga or Portugal then finally signing at ManU and Inter did nothing.

Pinamonti is probably linked to Scamacca case in terms that we need to make money. So if we cannot include Pinamonti to that deal, we need to try to cash in with Pinamonti in some other way.

I don't think we can sign Dybala or Lukaku if Lautaro is not sold.

We'll also need to offload both Dzeko and Sanchez if we want two new good forwards because they make too much.
Unless we get that extra cash from Lautaro and Correa sales.

I get that but according to the same logic we can't make a move for Bremer before finding a buyer for De Vrij. But Romano's report for Bremer was a lot different.

Maybe the logic is not the same in every case.

To me it's clear there is "value parked" in Pinamonti and Inter needs to use that parked value.

If the rumours are true, I think we are making a mistake going after Dybala, I feel the transfer is too risky given his injury record and I am wondering whether Marotta is blinded by trying to get one up on his former employer.

No wonder Marotta is after Dybala. One of the biggest stars in Serie A for free is great opportunity. And he is not another 35 years old grandpa, but 28 years old player. The recent months proved that we need someone like him in our squad. We rely on team performance, not individuals and right now our team is in bad shape and having someone like Dybala could help us win the games. Right now we are toothless.

The guy spent most of his career playing under shitty football of Allegri and he still shined. The only problem is his fitness, but I think it's worth a gamble.

The perfect scenario for our attack department for next season would be having both Dybala and Scamacca and two of Correa, Lautaro and Dzeko with Alexis out for sure. At this moment I don't care who of Correa, Lautaro, Dzeko is being sold. I'm disappointed of all of them.

Worth the gamble until it isn't, ie. when Dybala misses yet another key match because of some muscle injury which he has had quite a few already in this season alone.

The important thing to notice in Dybala's injuries is that they are indeed muscle injuries. Not some ACL or broken leg or some odd, random, very rarely happening incidents. They are muscle injuries which come from matches, from training, generally when body is at too much stress and/or the muscle treatment is not at top level.

At that age, in your prime years, having so many muscle injuries is a red flag for me.

just realized the groth decree won`t apply for Dybala so there are even slimmer chances our club signs him :giggle:

I am with Cafe. Dybala is worth the gamble if he can stay fit. But if he's proven to be another Correa (or even worse Sensi) then we're going to bash the management for giving the highest salary of the club to a player who had a very bad record of fitness issues in the last 3 years, and rightfully so.

If the club was still in the same situation as pre covid i would say go for it. But in our current financial situation we can't afford taking expensive gambles. We need to be very careful and there needs to be as less risk as possible in our moves.

Would he accept a salary which is ''normal'' and with some kind of bonuses if he reach a certain amount of games?

I doubt it. Seems like he is going to highest bidder so City, Tico, Barca, PSG it is (y)

Fit Dybala isn't a gamble, the gamble is if he can stay fit which still is a good value imo.

What kind of salary would he want?8m? As that's what they agreed on with Juve last year. We are paying 6m for Dzeko, 8m for Dybala is a no brainer imo

This is all on the pre-cursor of him being FIT.

Why ignore what his body has done for the last couple of seasons? Failed him with soft tissue injuries constantly. PASS Dybala to the left-hand side, say no to drugs kids.

For the money he will be on there is better options and in particular, I think the Defense/Midfield is the bigger need too.
