I`m still hoping for Nandez, this summer or the next. Fuckin` owners cancelled a very good De Paul deal and now we had to watch Fiorentina loan Torreira with option to buy for peanuts.

Loan swap Gags/Vecino with Diego Demme or Amrabat a la Dalbert/Biraghi formula

Interesting idea, problem is who could we feed Gags/Vecino at this point?

Both Sky Sport and Tuttomercatoweb report La Viola are open to selling the midfielder on a paid loan deal with an option to buy.

A last minute deal for Nandez would be nice. Gives us additional depth in central midfield and out wide if Dumfries/Darmian can’t hack it.

Alas we’re almost certainly stuck with all of Vidal, Vecino and Gags for another season. It’s my hope that at least one of them can be a productive member of the squad.

So far, Vidal has got a goal and an assist in 25 mins. I'd call that productive

Indeed. Rather minuscule sample size though. And unlucky for us that we don’t play Genoa every week.

I think we can count on Vidal. He had injury issues last season, but has been very consistent throughout his career, wherever he played. Also he doesn't have anything to prove in general, but surely isn't happy with his experience at Inter so far. He would feel the need to make us feel his worth, and would give it his all this season.

Similarly for Vecino, we know he can be useful in some aspects of the game.

At this point, both of them know they aren't first choice. So would be keen to grab the opportunities they get. I would be happy to offload them and get someone else. But it's not a bad situation to have, with experienced folks to come and make an impact where needed.

Our biggest concern is lack of a vice Brozovic. But at least, Barella can get a lot of rest now. And Gags can stay further down the pecking order.

Yeah, I hope we somehow manage to sign Nandez by end of mercato. At the moment, aside Brozo-Cal-Barella, it is only Vidal/Sensi who are quality players (unfortunately both made of glasses). Thus, we need one more midfielder for sure, if we are to do well in Serie and Champions League.

It would be good to swap Vecino - Insigne (depending on Sanchez's injury) and sign Nandez/?.

Propabably from that year on, we will operate within cap regarding salaries and amortisation. This sum is now a little bit over 200m/year. Next year with Vecino and Vidal gone we should have enough money to buy a good/expensive midfielder and remain under the cap.
