Coincidentally this rumour emerged the same day Di Marzio reported Empoli are interested in Sampdoria's Murru (lb). I like Parisi and i was expecting us to get linked with him. He's certainly one to keep an eye on for the future but he can't be a Perisic replacement. Perhaps in 2-3 years but certainly not now. If he joins he can't be anything more than a backup.

There's one thing about the young players. They need playing time to get their basics right. We got Barella at just the right time since he had a couple of years of starting experience at Cagliari.

This is where Milan suffered last year with Tonali since he didn't have enough time under him, though the potential was there. It's working well for them as he has played consistently since others were injured. When someone like Frattesi is only a backup, it will hinder him.

I believe Frattesi as a fourth option would play a lot, even start some games, because he could play instead of Hakan OR Barella. Minimum 1800 minutes first season with us. I think it would be like that.

Mattias Svanberg anyone? Really like him from what I’ve seen. Can play different kind of roles in midfield. He’s quite all-round, can win possession back, contribute defensively, can cover spaces, has a good pass and a good shot. One we should keep an eye on imo. Past week there were rumors we where interested, but so is Tottenham, Arsenal and City evidently. Also his contract runs out in 2023, so his asking price shouldn’t be that high.

I wrote something similar awhile ago. If you look how Barella, Chiesa or even Locatelli developed, there is a pattern. They started as 19-20yo at a small/middle club as talents. A few good games, maybe more unimpressive games, but everone understand they need time and play to develop. In the 2nd year, they established themseves and are regular starters and pillars of their team. From the 3rd year you can see they are too big for their small clubs and usually are in national team. Locatelli and Barella were straight in this pattern. Chiesa stayed for another year at Fiorentina, though he was already fir for a bigger club. Tonali came at Milan after one year and he striggled, even if the talent is there. Ricci is exactly like Tonali at Brescia. He needs one or two years at a smaller club. Frattesi seems more advanced, but he is older and have more experience in Serie B.
If we take Frattesi he will be like 4th midfielder. But he need to play a lot to fulfill his potential (yeas, 1800 minutes per year, seems right).

Schira - Inter have their eyes on Nandez (Cagliari)

He reminds me of Barella. Wouldnt mind him if Sensi is sold.
I swear I read a tweet linking him with Torino..

If Italy even make it. One of the main protagonists in Chiesa is gone till next season and the Azzurri still don’t have a dependable CF.

But I’m all for Frattesi. He’s getting better and better and we need to lock him down before Juve come knocking. As a 4th midfielder, he’d still get plenty of minutes.

According to reports from Manchester Evening News (via Calciomercato.it), the Red Devils are preparing to offload Van de Beek on a loan deal. Inter, Juventus and Milan are the teams interested in the profile of the former Ajax man, whose career has not really kicked off in Manchester.

Don't have one.

That could potentially be a great move for us. I think inzaghiball would suit him perfectly.

I'd love him on a loan deal, no strings attached. Ideal vice Barella for the CL fixture and for the rest of the season if we manage to advance there, but don't want us to commit just in case he's damaged goods or wants a guaranteed starting spot.
