Doesnt make sense to have Udogie + Cambiasso. Its one or the other.

The dream scenario

LWB - Gosens / Udogie

CB's - Bastoni / Bremer / Skrniar
- rotated through Milenkovic & Viti

RWB - Dumfries / Bellanova

Darmian, Dimarco and D'Ambrosio to fill where possible, or sold for Vanheudsen or another Primavera talent if there is one?
i repeat ill take them all, Cambiaso can play both flanks and we could always loan him out, but the revolution the revitalization needs to come now

Smaller sponsors, stadium. Without top4. 20M€ investments are too high.

"Atalanta, on its official website, announced the purchase of the player Merih Demiral from Juventus.
The sum of the transfer is not disclosed, but according to media reports, it is 20 million euros. There is also no information about the terms of the contract.
The 24-year-old Demirall has been playing in Serie A since 2019, when he joined Sassuolo from Alagnaspor. In the same year he was transferred to Juventus.
In the season 2021/22 the Turkish footballer played for Atalanta on loan. He played 42 matches in all tournaments, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.

With Milan Skriniar increasingly in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain, the casting has begun at Inter to find a possible replacement. The candidacies of Bremer and Milenkovic resist but, according to today's edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport, the hypothesis Francesco Acerbi, out of Lazio and a player very welcome to Simone Inzaghi, could also take off.

Pushing Škriniar out and losing Bremer to Cairo's extortionist demands, while one wants to stay and the other wants to sign, would be difficult enough to digest. Ending up with Acerbi would be a nightmare. When Acerbi was leaving Sassuolo, the club (justly) rejected him for De Vrij when he was far more of a suitable target. Now, 4 years later, we want to replace our best centerback with Acerbi while simultaneously discussing a Scudetto challenge? At his age, does he even possess the physical characteristics to play in Inzaghi's high backline at left center back?

It is not pleasant to see that we are weakening what is currently the strongest department of the squad. Losing the youthfulness of our centerhalves (which, between Bastoni, Bremer, and Škriniar, would guarantee the club an elite level in this position for the foreseeable future) and recruiting a 34 year old journeyman out of austerity is so uninspiring that it becomes believable at this point.

Also, between Correa and Caicedo, Inzaghi's recommendations haven't panned out thus far.

Acerbi can only play in the middle of a back 3. He's too slow to play on the side. if you play him as lcb the result would be comical. And at this stage of his career i am not even sure he's an upgrade over Ranocchia.

I’m mentally prepared to lose Skriniar, miss out on Bremer and Milenkovic (both owners are absolute shit bags to deal with) and scramble at the last minute in a deal for Acerbi. And knowing Lazio, they’ll haggle for every fucking euro they can get out of us.

Skriniar to Acerbi is a downgrade equally proportionate as going from Lukaku to Dzeko.

I like it. We’ve done it before and I can see us doing it again.

Derby of the Madonnina for Francesco Acerbi. The footballer's agents are at work: the '88 class wants to leave Lazio because he is at odds with the environment. Both Milanese have to cover a hole in the pink and Il Leone can do for them. Lotito always asks between 5 and 7 million euros to give the card, but he has no interest in getting in the way. Unthinkable to keep a player unhappy and unwelcome by the fans for another 3 years (the contract expires in 2025, ed), with a salary of over 2 million.
INTER - The road that would lead to the Nerazzurri has opened with the transfer of Ranocchia to Monza. In the plans of the manager and the club there must be at least one reserve in each role. And Inzaghi would prefer a profile of experience and reliability. Already last year Simoncino had to take Radu with him to Milan, without success. He could do it this year with the central who for three seasons was a very loyal one of him in Rome. The low cost candidacy of the 33 biancoceleste would seem a solution that can satisfy everyone.
MILAN - It is true that Lotito has decided to unblock the Romagnoli situation regardless of the sale of the former Sassuolo. But if this happens quickly, the arrival in Formello of his replacement could be even faster. This is why the other hypothesis is precisely the one that leads to the Rossoneri banks of the canals. With the farewell to zero of the Anzio plant, Pioli's team now needs to find a quality replacement, to cover the shoulders of the young Kalulu and Tomori. The difficulties to get to Botman could therefore make the choice turn to Acerbi, who would do the opposite path to that of the class of '95 on the axis between the capital and the Lombard capital. Among other things, it would be for him a return to Milanello, after 10 years. It would be the right opportunity to close a cycle and redeem the not very brilliant memory he had left at the time.
This fucker makes over 2 mln salary at Lazio! I don't see him reducing it to come here, and most probably he will ask for increase. Lotito will demand for some cash too. This will be an awful move, renewal of the Frog was x 10 times better decision.
