Considering the valuation that Juve paid, I’m not so sure whether moving earlier would have facilitated a deal.

If we are to believe reports, PSG only offered ~10 million more for Skriniar, a player who has been playing at a high level for several years.

What do you mean real offer? For Cairo the real offer was 50m. And by the way, this is not a secret. He made it public in an interview.

We cannot make such a "real offer" with 100m losses per year. Not if we don't sell someone for a sum which should be 50% higher.
Did you read what pay check will receive Bremer? 6m per year!!!

I’m not so convinced, Maratto and co. have been in ongoing negotiations with Cairo for months, for long Cairo asked for a player on top of the 30m, a player Inter where never prepared to let go. Cairo where never going to accept anything under their 50m valuation of Bremer, being 40m plus bonus, 30m plus talents with high sale potential in the 20m class. If he would have been ready to do so, I’m convinced Marotta would have landed Bremer a long time ago.

Marotta tried using the player wish to join Inter to force the price down, it was really the only way Inter could ever get him, Zhang never would have allowed Marotta to spend more then 30m if there was a high sale of one of the teams profiles, really Cairo would have no rush to accept such an offer before the last days of the market.

It’s really optimistic to think we could land him for 30m when everything point in the direction that Cairo would never accept that unless they where running out of time.
