Zanetti doesn't do any financial stuff, I can bet my dick and balls for that.

He's basically just a mascot.

Dude c'mon ! He's a vice president !

Do you really believe it was Zhang's personal idea to bring Beppe or keep Ausilio ? Little Stevie is a guy who knows nothing about football. He's just a business man. Zanetti's involvement wasn't just about J.Alvarez or E.Fernadez. The same man was involved in the De Paul transfer, and when we failed that transfer, he made the same raw excuse: ''we don't have enough money.''

Define not having enough money !

If I'm not mistaken, De Paul's cost to Udinese is only 3 million euros. I wonder what he was doing at the time ? or let me ask: Where was Zanetti when Fernandez was transferred to Benfica for only 12 millions ?

Zanetti's name always makes the headlines whenever we deal with an Argentinian. What do we expect from him ? Bringing quality players from Argentina, one of the most important football countries in the world and where have always trained big stars, to our club at "reasonable" prices.

He's an Argie football icon ,right ? I think that at least he should use his strong ties with Argentinian football in our favor, but for some reason we have never witnessed this.

Look mate ! He's an Inter legend, a good family man and a true gentleman. I have no objection to any of these. But we are not discussing his personal life or his football career anyway. As a vp I think he is incompetent.

Grow revenues ! Really ! Bro we're not Brighton&Hove Albion or RB Leipzig. They're the kind of clubs who care grow revenues and other paperworks. We're Inter. We became a big club because what we won on the pitch.

I'm Turkish so I'm a middle easterner. Since the day we were born, we middle easterners have been specializing in dealing with immoral politicians, fascist army, fascist police and useless clumsy bureaucracy. We are people who are very well vaccinated against this type of bullshits.

Believe me, I'm good at getting to know an ordinary bureaucrat who does nothing but think about his own comfort zone. I mean I can smell the bullshit from 1000 kilometers away.

And I can assure you I would have said the same if my idols Matthaus or Zamorano had been in Zanetti's place.

Zanetti is more like an ambassador for the club.

He certainly doesn't affect financial decisions.

Even in sporting side he certainly offers his opinion and he can use his influence on Argentinean players to convince them to join Inter but he isn't the one making the decisions.

Occasionally assisting the transfer team with argentine players doesn't make him responsible for that area of the management team.

You are trying to judge him on areas he is not responsible for. You along with some of the fan base want zanetti to be like Maldini while he is the fachetti of this Inter management team.

Ausilio was part of Inter before Zhang took over the club. As for beppe sure zanetti may have advised him on management hires cause that is part of the corporate job.

I feel that this rant against Zanetti is unnecessary because his role is not to scout/buy players.

Lautaro Martinez came thanks to our good relationship with the argies - Milito [Sporting Director @ Racing Club] was the one proposing him to Zanetti, as far as I can recall. Julian Alvarez was also proposed but the sporting directors made other choices.

Zanetti also has a good relationship with Dybala and convinced him, but it seems that it was the club that wasn`t convinced of Dybala.

Back on topic: GdS have been writing a lot of shit recently, the asking price for Scalvini was previously reported at 40M.

Koulibaly makes almost €10m net at Chelsea. He wouldn't be cheaper than Skriniar at all, considering there'd also be a loan fee.

Scalvini is nowhere near worth €50-60m btw. Maybe €40m with bonuses.

This Koulibaly news seems total bs to me.

I think Skriniar will renew. But if Skriniar leaves we need to renew De Vrij. I know it’s far from optimal, but we will have hard financial year next year as we are en route to recession and many sponsor will be cutting or will leave.

But if Skriniar renew De Vrij need to leave next summer. I don’t think we will get any offers for him in january and I don’t think he wants to leave in january. But one of them need to leave as we still need to cut wages.

Next summer I would be looking someone like Davinson Sanchez to replace De Vrij. Someone who is at good age but is flying under the radar, but have suitable characteristics to Limoneball.

I think we would benifit for someone like Sanchez who is athletic and pretty physical and has a solid pace. I think Simone would want to play with higher D-line but with Bastoni-De Vrij-Skriniar it’s risky business as they are all pretty slow. I think one faster defender would give us more balance and security when we are at posession.

If we can get someone like Sanchez with a deal like Eric Bailly went to Marseille, loan with obligation for €6m if they get to CL next season. What I have heard Bailly has been good at OM?

My dream sining would be Scalvini but Atalanta have slapped high price for him so I don’t think we can pull this transfer trough even if we try to insert youngster or two to the deal.

I would also listen to offers for Bastoni next summer. He is my favorite player on this team, but I’m realistic. We will need to sell one or two starters next summer and try to replace them with less money. Maybe Bastoni also need a little change to grow as a player? I’m not saying he can’t do that at Inter and I hope he stays, but if 60-80m offer arrives I would sell him. We need to cut wages and it seems someone like Bastoni is a luxury player to Inter at our finacial situation currently. I think Acerbi can cover for one season with Dimarco. I hope we could see some minutes from Fontanarosa, but I think he would need to go for a loan. Ndicka would be ideal to replace someone like Bastoni, but he seems to be close to Arsenal transfer?

I hope Danilo renew for one season.

If we lose Skriniar, i would be all over Ndicka from Eintracht. The will fit in our line up perfectly. And he is only 23 years old.
But i really hope we stick with Skriniar.

Demiral could be interesting for the right price. He's decently fast, very strong, great in the air, and has a super intense old-school style of defending. That being said, he's prone to stupid mistakes due to his over-eager manner and is terrible on the ball.
