Only redemption for this catastrophe is to bring fkn Gvardiol but it wont happen cause we have no money for primavera kid from north korea.
Because the only way you can support inter is by having more than one Croatian.

Jokes aside. Why would we need him when we have Bastoni?

According to the news today, he won't be sold if we're not signing Bremer. For me that's 100% win

Then you sir are not thinking clearly.

When you have a young player of Bremer's quality available to you for just 30m, you buy. Immediately. Any top club would. You first buy, then you think about how to make space. There is no rule that if Inter buy Bremer, we have to sell Skriniar. Selling Skriniar would be as stupid as not buying Bremer for 30m.

100% win? If Inter want to be a top club, then this would be a disappointing loss. There are clubs who would easily pay 50m for Bremer right now.

I think the minute people open their eyes and see the truth that we aren’t financially currently a big club, but a money losing club that is trying to balance books and same time try to fight for trophys it will be mind-blowing moment!

Yeah, how that equation makes any sense? If we need to cut costs drastically, we can't compete for trophies. Compete for trophies demand from the owners leads our directors to sign alexis, vidals, dzekos, kolarovs, mkhitaryans of the world. We can't compete for trophies with only young players (who fit to our budget).

It's either or but the Chinese think they can have a cake and eat it too.

And a could of relatively meaningless trophies from last year have validated their opinions.

Milan says hello! Aside Ibra, Giroud and to some extend Kjaer their team is young.

Inter are not trying to "balance books", its more like selling the family jewels to keep the facade of a successful lifestyle.

If Suning know they don't have money to invest and want to run the club long term, then the logical approach would be to reduce the costs to what the club can afford. When we sold Lukaku & Hakimi, Inter should have used that 180m to restructure the club. Get rid of big wage earners that we can't afford anymore, and buy younger players at reasonable wages that we can afford with our revenues. It can be done (hate to point it out, but thats exactly what Elliot did with Milan). But no, Inter instead loaded the club wage bill with the enormous wages of Dzeko & Calhanoglu, so that now we are exactly at the same spot as we were 12 months ago, talking about the need to sell Skriniar so that we can sign Dybala on huge wages?! This is the "mercato ponzi scheme" I was talking about.

In the last 12 months, players like Dumfries & Asllani make perfect sense for Inter to buy if we want a sustainable approach. Players like Dybala or Calhanoglu make sense in the "mercato ponzi scheme" approach. Funnily enough, Bremer actually suits both the strategies perfectly. Which is why it will be so disappointing if we fuck up this transfer.

This is a kindergarten forum or what!
You could have bought Bremer for 30m if no other offer would have been made! But Cairo had no intention to sell him from the first day. He said it clearly in an interview!
And be sure that Juventus told him to wait for their offer after the sale of de Ligt.

In no moment was Bremer available immediately for 30m!

And by the way how does it sound the idea that Bremer will wait a year or half a year for us to buy him for 15m?😁

I don’t think it’s as clear cut as that. Milan has after all just won the latest iteration of the scudetto, something they largely achieved by a team of very young and talented players that wasn’t at the time of purchase, necessarily the most sought after nor the most fully developed talents. Milan are far from the first team to achieve it that way.

The way Inter went about it, is just the old, dare I write; classic Italian way of of doing it; cannot afford players at their prime get old washed out has beens on high wages.

I don’t disagree in regards to the cause of that strategy we have seen in later years, but I don’t necessarily think you need to completely have to abandon ambitions just because you cannot afford fully developed players, you just need to invest in the right talents, develop them and give it time, just like Milan. But unlike them actually try to cash in on them and not let them leave on a bosman.

A left footed CB? We don’t need a Bastoni replacement. Someone like Timber from Ajax would be the best replacement on the market, but he isn’t leaving Ajax before the World Cup, and we can’t afford him anyways with the premier league attention.

Actually, if Skriniar stays i'd take Milenkovic ahead of Bremer. He will fit as RCB and is twice cheaper + lower salary.

I don't disagree at all with you. But because of the financial demands our owners put on us, it is clear it was going to be be one or the other and that having them both was only a dream.

So if I had to choose between Skriniar or Bremer + 30m cash reserve, me personally will choose Skriniar because he's one of us.
