Apparently Manchester United and Chelsea are indeed interested in Dumfries. I really like his fighting spirit, but getting around 40 million for him can unlock Milenkovic and a decent replacement (e.g. Molina). The most important thing I care about is that we hurry the fuck up because in three weeks Serie A will already start and we should have our team together way earlier to get some chemistry going.

Molina is going to Atletico. Season also starts in 3 weeks. If its up to me I aint selling anyone anymore, other than the players that should have been sold long time ago.

That's not an option. We need to make 60m from sales. Someone needs to get sold.

If Dumfries is sold, they should go for Singo of Torino. The only decent replacement we could afford.

ohh yes, dealing with Torino again. They couldn't finish a 7 month deal, i don't think they would be able to do one in 3 weeks. Also, the moment Inter would start talks, the price of Singo would go to 40M.

I dont see a reason to blame Torino on this. 45m is fair for Bremer, the deal went through quickly once Juve met their demand. Juve is also their city rival so I don't think they can be much more difficult than that.

We bet hard on Bremer's will to low ball Torino but didn't work out in the end, it's just that.

Not before next summer, hopefully either someone has bought Inter or Oaktree has taken over by then, preferably the first.

Also 40m is to little for Dumfries, hopefully Milenkovic will never come.

I dont mind bringing Milenkovic, if not for anything but depth - essentially replacing Rano. Think this is the last item of business before the start of the season.

Dumfries is decent for 40M, hopefully smashes this year and he can be sold for 60M. I'll be very interested this season who will be targeted for our options in defense:

Dumfries replacement (50M)
De Vrij replacement (free) - Viti
Skriniar replacement (80m) - Ndika / Senesei
back-up for Gosens (pissing into our own pocket) - Udogie

Personally I just prefer we give one of our talents a chance instead of always buying some we all know isn’t talented enough like Milenkovic. We need to be more smart with the funds we have then thrown them away on half baked solution. 10m here 15m there and another 20m there will eventually pile up to a noticeable amount.

Personally I’m fine with Dumfries for now, there really need a substantial offer on the table like 50-60m euro for it to be worth considering because Inter do need to go out and find a replacement. You won’t get very far with 40m especially as a large chunk has to cover the clubs deficit.

De Vrij is a problem that needs to be addressed in 2023, so there is time to negotiate a deal in place by then.

Skriniar will hopefully get his contract extended to 2026 and then no more about selling him.

There is no super talent in the primavera who plays cb/rcb. Is all well and good to want to give youngsters a chance but there actually needs to be the talent for it.

actually it's ten times 10x better using Pirola and Vanheusden model along season over fossils Kolorov and Acerbi etc

yeap, Repubblica is saying Acerbi would be the low cost defender, especially if Milenkovic does not come.... Like i said before, for a Rano replacement, Acerbi is just fine, probably even an improvement over Rano.

Absolutely not.

Acerbi is older, likely has higher wages and doesn't have the benefit of knowing this club and this squad like the back of his hand.

I have no idea why we didn't just use the extension clause for one more season. We know he's turned into Mr. Dependable, and what we need, now that we can't spend money, is dependable, cheap players.

Acerbi on the other hand smiles when he concedes against Milan.

I think it was more about Ranocchia's own decision to leave and play more. He moved to Monza so didn't really have to move anywhere, can keep living in Milano. He just gets to play more now in his old days. He has Scudetto in his trophy cabinet now so it's not like there's something to target anymore.

Acerbi lol. As a De Vrij back up its whatever but on principle alone it's a hell no.

It would be such an Inter move to bring in an old player on high wages. And the worst part, even at 34 years young, he still has several years on his contract. Hard pass.
