PERFECT scenario:

Dzeko to Monza.
Inter sign Dybala.
Inter send Correa on loan to a club who needs quality upfront, let's say Valencia or even Lazio.

2022-2023: Lautaro, Dybala, Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez
2023-2024: Lautaro, Dybala, Correa, new striker to sub Lukaku if Chelsea don't want to give us Lukaku for free.

Is easier to someone want Dzeko than Sanchez. If we want Sanchez out we hv to pay him, if we want Dzeko out maybe not.

And Correa cost us around 30mil no? at least has to get one chance before selling him

in terms of value I agree with this, essentially dzeko (whom I have no problem with) performed better than I expected last season but has a higher wage and less of a resale value

If we could use Correa in a swap deal, that would have solved a lot of problems without making capital losses. Thats why I liked those De Paul rumours.

Ideally, we should have Martinez (Dybala) - Lukaku (Dzeko), those back ups are more like for like. Dzeko can be useful when used properly as a supersub or for resting Lukaku. Dybala + Martinez would make Correa obsolete.

The only genuine interest for Correa would be if we sack Inzaghi and he takes Correa with him. He's an 18m player max and that's a 3m loan +15m option

I am hoping Correa could be used in a swap +/- cash deal. It could be with Atleti for De Paul, Torino for Bremer, or Napoli for Koulibaly. We're running out of options now though.

De Paul - Correa swap would have been awsome, but sadly it’s unrealistic? They still have Felix, Griezmann, Correa, Cunha and Morata is still Tico player.

I could see Spalletti wanting Correa, but I think De Laurentiis only want cash for Koulibaly and go for cheaper options than Correa, whos wages might be too big? There might be small change if Mertens leaves? Insigne already left and they need some depth to cover them?

In England there have been news that Newcastle is interested Correa? Their attack needs reinforcements and they have the cash. But I really can’t see Correa at England and I think Correa will refuse to move there and stay in Italy with his friend Lautaro.

Maybe some team in spain will try to loan him at end of the window? But again his wages might be obstacle?

Well he is 27 which means at 30 0r 31 he can be sold for more than a 40 year old dzeko
You are thinking this in a wrong way. I wasn't comparing Correa's and Dzeko's resale values. Of course Correa has more than Dzeko, Dzeko is 37 years old or something.

The point is, Dzeko brings more quality on the pitch. That's what matters, right? We don't want to keep Correa only because he has resale value. You are implying we should keep Correa so that we can sell him later. Well, I think every year we keep Correa the less we gonna get from him in a sale. And while keeping him, we need to use him and at least last season he wasn't too good on the pitch. We invested 1.5m for Dzeko so it's not like we even need to get anything if he leaves. And their gross salaries are different, but it's like less than 3m (1.5m net difference).

Then the issue is if we can't get enough money for Correa now, that might be the only reason to keep him. Which is of course unfortunate. Keeping him one year makes it possible for us to accept lesser money next summer.

But that's the part I disagree with currently

We have Lauti who is a 9 he doesn't work with dzeko which is what we all know after last season.

Lukaku who can play 9 but really moves to the right wing for us and has pace to create room and cuts in he's a bit of a hybrid but works amazing with Lauti

Dzeko who in my opinion had a great season for us but his second half of the season was worse than abysmal. I mean there was a game where he fucked all of our counter attacks up.

Correa in my opinion was unlucky. We saw a glimpse of what he's capable of in the Milan game in coppa second leg. He was causing them all sorts of problems with his one touch passing and linking up he could work with lukaku and Lauti

Overall I think Correa injury free would be a better asset to the team than dzeko. Dzeko speed slows the pace too much for how fluid limone ball is

Correa might have a better season than last one, as his injuries could have affected his performance and place in the team. His speed and dribbling bring something which Dzeko lacks. As a sub he could bring something dynamic on the pitch when Lukaku and specially Lautaro are having one of those days.

i find it hard to believe that the problem is having too much strikers.. i mean cmon, there will be not a second chance to get a player like Dybala. It's more about the salarys probably, with Dybala you would have to many high earners in the team, thats why Sanchez has to leave. We already had too much players in one position, remember last year, we had like 6 midfielders till Sensi got loaned in January. Or when Nainngolan was still here with Conte. There is also no problem with the play time, Dzeko is at the end of he's career i don't need him to see more then 1-2 coppa games, honestly. You can still find other solution in January or next year if no one is gonna make an offer for Correa or Dzeko.

Dzeko had a good start, but he just ran out of fuel, which was expected. Him missing clear chances was also expected. I dont mind if he comes from the bench.
