Lautaro Martínez NET Annual € 6,000,000 vs Roberto Firmino NET Annual € 5,821,744

Romelu Lukaku NET Annual € 8,500,000 vs Marcus Thuram NET Annual € 1,700,000

Edin Dzeko NET Annual € 5,000,000 vs Beto NET Annual € 150,000

Joaquín Correa NET Annual € 3,500,000 vs Mateo Retegui NET Annual € ?, it's definitely less than 500,000

we can easily increase the quality and save a couple of million on salaries.

Sky reporter Barzaghi Mediaset reporter Barzaghi reported Thuram has decided NOT to join Inter.

Referring to post above, our proposal to Thuram was 5m net. And he rejected that (if that report is true) so I think we did everything we could.

Edit. Mediaset Barzaghi is an unreliable source.

The mediaset guy has some connects but he mostly pushes whatever bullshit you read in the papers and makes a lot of clickbait content.

Inter Milan are clear favorites to sign AC Milan and Napoli linked Italy striker Mateo Retegui after agreeing an €18 million evaluation of the player with his Argentinian club Tigre.
This according to the online edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, who report further that the Azzurri star’s father and agent, Carlos Retegui, has indicated to the Nerazzurri that they will be given preferential treatment to sign the player.
Inter’s Deputy Sporting Director, Dario Baccin, met with Carlos Retegui in both Naples and Malta during Italy’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, where Mateo Retegui scored a goal on both games.
Cross-town rivals AC Milan, Serie A league leaders Napoli as well as Lazio have also shown interest in the player joining a host of European clubs.
These are include Premie League outfit West Ham, La Liga side Atletico Madrid as well as the reigning Europa League champions, Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, the report continues.
However, Inter have preferential treatment due to having already agreed an €18 million evaluation of Retegui with his current club, Argentinian Tigre, a club they have an excellent relationship with.
This after a successful previous negotiation of Facundo Colidio, who is currently on loan at Tigre until the end of this coming June.
However, reports in the Italian media have stated that Facundo Colidio could be included in a deal plus cash deal to bring Retegui to Inter with Colidio going the opposite way to Tigre.

had anyone heard of him before a month ago? 18 million seems like a massive gamble for a team with $0 money
It is, but this is Inter. The top of the cream will be if Inzaghi stays and we get this lad. Then he will be too young to play for next 10 years.

Lautaro is still the second top scorer in Serie A. I've never watched Retegui play so can't say how he would do here.

Big gamble tbh, wasn't overly impressed watching him for Italy but he did get goals. His overall play seems to be lacking though and at 23 I don't how much more he can improve

He has probably at least 10 years left of his career. Lots of improvement left in terms of time, but potential for improvement is the crucial one. In Europe he can probably improve more than in Argentina. Moving to Inter is the big question mark since the expectation levels and pressure are through the roof compared to anything he's had so far.

10 years left in his career does not mean Inter can enjoy those 10 years. But only till his first contract expiration. If Retegui develops well enough his wage demand is going out of our reach. And join PSG to enjoy his best years lol :D

We only get benefits if we sell him soon enough. But you guys will be the first ones to be against it. Then it's too late.

Well, I see no bright future as long as Suning is in charge.
