Duvan is old and Injury prone on a team that mask every players weakness.

Watch any highlights of him for Colombia and he is laughably bad. Or any of his seasons before the one two seasons ago.

He is a big strong sort of fast striker…. That’s about it….

Unless it’s Pinamonti + some garbage prospect for Zapata. I say stay the fk away. It’s a really bad gamble especially at his age

I honestly don't care about the potential price tag, if marotta and ausilio calculated we can afford him, then it's the nonexistent issue for me.
Yes, but look. Either defense will be weakened or Lukaku-Dybala partnership may not work well if Lautaro goes. So it's dilemma, what to do.

And who do you prefer to sell? Barrela, Bastoni or Skriniar?

Skriniar but in reality none of them. He is the oldest and would command more than Bastoni.

I wouldn’t sell Barella unless it’s for more than Lukaku. Even then sell everyone before we sell him.

Bastoni I want to retire with us and break all our defender records. Wouldn’t sell him for any amount of money and he doesn’t want to leave!!

I’m against Lukaku transfer cause of the financials and without Conte’s care in Inzaghi system it might not be rosy? Also I’m worried of his fitness, can he stay in shape as he is getting older?

But I will speculate and only way I see we could pull this of is swapping him to De Vrij and Dumfries for €50-55m valuation + 10-15m? Chelsea need to replace Rudiger and Christensen and Reece James is having some problems at Chelsea and they are apparently after a new RB?

So apparently, this big meeting with his lawyer ended up being "yeah, we'd love to work together again. Now let's see what Chelsea have to say about it"

And now Pedulla said THERE WASN'T ANY MEETING?!?!?! I'm actually dead, it is the 31st May and people are already losing thei
Typical Pedulla taking a dig at anything Di Marzio reports

According to the latest data Suning wants 80m profit from sales, who else will you sell, do not forget that we need to buy 2 midfielders, a right back winger, and 3 central defenders in case you sell those two you mentioned.

They can make more than 80m profit if they just sell the club. I still hope someone come and save Inter from Suning before they dismantle the team.

Dybala's goals per minutes is actually just ahead of Lukaku for the season, infact - but the big difference is financial. If you say that they're roughly the same asset, Dybala is 70+mil euros cheaper than Lukaku. Less if you factor in potential relative wage difference, but still.

If it was the same transfer fee for both, I'd go Lukaku, but Bosman changes the game
Yes. As risky as it is, given his injury and the fact that he might go all Nainggolan homesick for juve, I would prefer to bring Dybala over Lukaku. The financial aspect is a big factor in my opinion.

The second most preferable scenario is that we forego Dybala and bring back Lukaku on some kind of loan + option with Chelsea covering at least half his wages.

The third and as mentioned, my least favourite scenario is that we sell Lautaro to bring both Dybala and Lukaku. I don't want that at all.

I don't even know why they're having a meeting. Lukaku wants to play here and it sounds like we're clearly interested in getting him back. If there are no Chelsea representatives at the meeting what on earth is the point? So Marotta and Ausilio have an excuse to have a night out?

Still better than Dzeko and with lower wages and 5 years younger. I would take him for some youth players included + cash? I would also release Dzeko and Sanchez and get Dybala.

Every Atalanta game that I saw this season he was their best player by far, eaven if he did not score. We need more mobility and one faster player who can also hold the ball. Duvan does it well and would be awsome sub/rotation player.

Atalanta is out of europe games and they are also in bad place mentaly. I think Duvan would push for transfer if we show interest on him?

But of course if we can get Scamacca for reasonable deal I’m for it! I don’t eaven rate Scamacca that high as many here do!

I just can’t be delucional and think we can get Lukaku at this financial climate! We have to be smart this summer and try to turn our financials around and still try to get to CL! We cannot do it with declining, old, high wages and high fee players like Lukaku.

Dybala is different thing. He is still only 28 and free and he can be that ”big player” who people come to see and will sell shirts... I also think he is decent player and would suit well to Limone-ball.

Can Inter forget about Lukaku and just get back Pintus please?
By far the best post on this thread. It's not a coincidence this guy is sought by all the top coaches. Conte, Zidane, Ancelotti. They all want him. And it's something many people disregard when it comes to Lukaku. When people think of Lukaku they have in mind 2019-21 version of Lukaku. But this time there will be no Conte and Pintus around. There's no guarantee we will get back old Lukaku. Unless the terms are too good to refuse (free loan with option and Lukaku earning 6-7m) it's a no from me for Lukaku.

Biasin: Lukaku? Quite simple situation, there are no major developments. The famous meeting between Lukaku's representative lawyer and Inter took place, it's not like they talked much. He is willing to reduce his salary by 50%, it is true and sensational. This is impressive. Now everything moves to London. Inter do not touch the ball in this negotiation, hope and wait. Lukaku must convince Chelsea to let him start on loan. A very difficult thing, there are over 100 million at stake. The possibilities remain very, very few. The starting point is interesting, he wants to return to Milan at all costs and wants to force his hand with Chelsea. I have never seen such a thing, but I am under no illusions: it will hardly materialize. If they succeed, it will impress me a lot. Inter are not dealing with Chelsea, it is Lukaku who talks to the Blues and wants to convince the club to let him go on loan.

We've been complaining about Dzeko being unable to trap a ball for the last six months, and now here we are entertaining the idea of Lukaku returning.

Hence why we are idiots as we pretty much focus our entire mercato on the possibility that Lukaku succeeds to get Chelsea's approval.

Just move on ffs. Both sides.

And it's not Lautaro who's going to be sacrificed (well, in the end he might), but one of Bastoni and Skriniar... Would anyone really do that?
Dybala deal is unrelated to the Lukaku stuff, as of now at least.
