According to Gazzetta both Inter and Milan have been scouting the 22-year-old during the World Cup with the Nerazzurri who even took the first formal steps towards Morocco star Azzedine Ounahi
The central midfielder has been one of the most exciting players in Qatar so his price tag has skyrocketed in the last few weeks.

Club director Dario Baccin is said to have made contact with Ounahi’s club Angers SCO, but the midfielder’s price is already unaffordable for the Serie A giants.

According to Gazzetta and Tuttosport, Leicester City are ready to put €45m on the table in January to secure the services of the Morocco international who is under contract with the Ligue 1 side until June 2026.

Ounahi has played six games in Qatar and made 14 appearances with his club before the World Cup break. Overall, he’s played 47 games in France’s top flight, scoring two goals.
Let others bite the bait.

EDIT:

INTER LOOK TO CANADA’S BUCHANAN AS HEIR TO DUMFRIES
Dumfries has seen his price-tag go through the roof to €60m after some impressive showings for the Netherlands in Qatar, including his stunning Round of 16 against the USA with two assists and a goal.

With sides like Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all interested in a potential swoop, Inter need to think about who could replace Dumfries in the squad next season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a new favourite is 23-year-old Tajon Buchanan, a Canada international who moved from New England Revolution to Club Brugge in January 2022.

He too appeared in the World Cup for Canada, contributing one assist as they crashed out in the group stage.

Other candidates for the role include Torino’s Wilfried Singo, Tunisia and Nottingham Forrest right-back Mohamed Dräger and KRC Genk man Angelo Preciado.
Jamaican roots, but can he defend? :D

If we want a Maroccan player, we should aim for Ziyech. But unfortunately he doesn't fit our tactics

We are going for Paredas, De Paul or any other garbage Argie player who just won the World Cup but all his dirty plays and tackles will lead to red cards in an inter jersey.

I’d take De Paul on loan. He’s a solid player. At least in Serie A.

Careful what you think/spread:

Inter are keen on signing Udinese midfielder Roberto Pereyra on a free transfer to replace Roberto Gagliardini next summer
This according to the print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giorno, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are closely following the 31-year-old’s contract negotiations with his current club with a view to potentially signing him next summer.

Pereyra’s current contract with Udinese is set to expire at the end of June 2023. The Friulani are hoping to extend the Argentine’s deal, but as of yet contract talks have not gotten them close to an agreement.

The Nerazzurri consider Pereyra a target to reinforce their midfield in the event that the former Juventus and Watford midfielder is to be available on a free transfer.
Roberto Pereyra is the captain of Udinese, has 6 assists and 1 goal in 15 Serie A matches.

Juventus payed €15M for him and sold him for €13.5M one year later to Watford.

I would love to see Kessie at Inter. But I think this transfer has really small change to go trough as we lack funds and we need to solve attack/wingbacks/defence first.

Ounahi seems to be good promising player, but I’m fine with our current attacking midfielders. If we sell one of Hakan or Barella I would welcome player like Ounahi. But for what I think we currently lack is player like Kessie.

Midfielder is one of our lowest priorities imo. We have players, even someone occasionally useful would be an upgrade over Gagliardini. We need to sort out the defense yesterday.

Our defense is going to be an even bigger disaster next year unless Marotta figures something out. At this point I'll renew de Vrij, just so I never have to see Smalling in an Inter kit. If Skriniar leaves we're absolutely doomed. Inzaghi's tactics combined with a low-rate replacement = even more goals conceded.

Unfortunately, our defensive woes don't even come closer to our need for a new striker. We've got a 49 year old Dzeko on an expiring contract, an underperforming Lukaku on an overpriced loan, and an alleged footballer in Correa. You could argue we need three strikers this summer!

I'm sure we'll extend Dzeko, renew Lukaku's loan for another season, and be unsuccessful in trying to offload Correa, only to be back in this exact situation next summer.

Wasn't there some other player that we could hypotetically offer 15mil to get him this winter? lol strange reports, we don't have 15 for a proven player, but we do for Alcaraz?
