Whoever it is I won't protest and join FIF's mocking of the signing player instead of SMS until I see him play for Inter. Fif was wrong so many times the last few years that I don't trust the collective opinion. Darmian and Acerbi are good examples. I have regained some faith in this management, with all their flaws considered.
Well, typically FIF was against signing and using Italian players and those who opposed this typically were the ones jerking over mediocre talent that had their 15 minutes of fame in one season. For some reason, collectively people jerk off for average players only to bash them once they arrive, in case they do. Or mock them when they fail at immediate rivals.

Signing players like Milinkovic-Savic makes sense.
Signing Italians makes sense.
Even signing veterans like Dzeko and Mkhtaryan makes sense at times.

I think we shall get both. If SMS bidding war goes to high, or his wage's demands are huge (6+mln), we can switch to another target like Frattesi.
I like Brozo, but for me now is the moment to sell him if there is a good offer (35+).

I forgot that also the signing of Hakan wasn't very welcomed.

If Inter can get SMS then great. But I'd like to see if the player brought instead of him will be good playing for Inter (in case the finances won't allow signing SMS which I'm 90% sure will be the case).

Signings that were mostly welcomed were:
- Asllani
- Bellanova
- Lukaku
- Onana

Apart from Onana, all other transfers were wasteful and Lukaku can score the winner in the CL final and that'll barely break us even between the two parties for the season.

Whereas Mkhtaryan and Acerbi weren't welcomed at all and they've been undoubtedly been our two best transfers this season.

Of course, no one says it's easy, but if Inter wants to maintain its status as one of the top sides in the world, we need to buy SMS without selling Brozovic and without considering that the alternative is Roberto Pereyra or Sofyan Amrabat.

You are tripping. There is no such status as one of the top sides in the world with Zhangs here. They are useless as owners. Your scenario is something will never happen here with the Chinese and their nonexistent money to support the club.

Which is why I use the terms "ideally" and a club that "wants to maintain its status as one of the top sides in the world". I don't include the Zhang's in those equations.

I use "Inter", not the Inter owners or management or existing structure.

I am very hopeful of a change....

Thing with Brozo is his huge contract. But we're about to give Calhanoglu a big one too. Not 6.5m, but AFAIK around 6m net. Our midfield will be quite expensive when it comes to salaries.

IF we are considering SMS, he's gonna demand at least 5m and we need to let one big go and all points that one being Brozovic.

There isn't a single sign our management even considers SMS. Not even a whisper from a shit source. So far it's just wishful thinking from FIF.

Shit sources usually get their rumors from FIF, so be prepared.

This is the point we say you read it first on FIF
I'll make a long post suggesting we pursue Cristante and see how long it takes to gain mainstream traction.

I think I saw SMS link to Inter the same day there was the 30-35m price rumor.

Brozo is 30. I'd say the best offer for him would be 20m.

If that is the offer keep hiM and let him retire here.

Brozo showed last game he should start when healthy. Those Croatians also don’t retire at 32 like everyone else. Maybe not a starter in a few years but a great role player.

if brozovic is sold, alternative to sms is tielemans as free signing. i dont think his demand would be too high since his club just been relegated while we offer cl.

barella, hakan, mkhi, tielemans, aslani would be quite solid mids for next season
