Fabrizio Romano: “Inter wanted Hugo Larsson, a midfielder born in 2004 from Malmö who we will hear a lot about in the coming years. Yesterday Eintracht took him for €11.5M. Inter had been working on it for some time, but Eintracht had immediate availability."

Inter found 11.5M and 20M excessive for Hugo Larsson and Bejamin Pavard but are looking at Scalvini, Frattesi and SMS worth 110M combined. They also want to reduce the age and salary of the squad by keeping Dzeko, Lukaku, SVD, Handanovic and also get Nacho on a 3 year deal.

I guess we're more willing to work with other Serie A teams as they would be more inclined to accept either players in exchange (potentially Fabbian) and type of payments that suit us while teams like Bayern may not be as willing?

In the end we will give Džeko another contract because Lukaku will be going back to Chelsea.

That's because we find the salary demand of Thuram and Firmino excessive. We are looking to reduce the age and salary of the squad afterall.

We will end june with only Toro & Correa as our 1st team strikers.

Dzeko is approached by Saudi
We don't have money for Lukaku
Firmino is closer to Real
Thuram may choose Bayern
Balogun & Retegui is expensive

We'll end up with Jovic/ Braithwaite/ Werghost/ other player with the same caliber

Don't worry, we can always take N'zola and Gabbiadini.

Barcelona want to offload Inter Milan target Franck Kessie during the summer transfer window to lower their wage bill.
This according to Spanish news outlet Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Blaugranas will aim to find a new club for the 26-year-old, and that Inter are interested although only on a loan or player swap arrangement.
Despite only having arrived at Barcelona last summer on a free transfer from AC Milan, he is already out of favour according to Sport.
The Ivorian has not really cemented a place in the starting eleven under Blaugranas coach Xavi. Accordingly, he could leave the Camp Nou this summer.
Sport report that Kessie’s desire is still to stay at Barcelona and fight for his place.
However, the report continues, the Blaugranas are of the view that a summer departure would be the best.
This is particularly the case given Barcelona’s aim of lowering their wage bill during the summer. Given that Kessie isn’t a central player to Barcelona’s sporting project, they do not want to continue paying his high wages.

a Kessie loan would be great with a low buy option.

Yes, a free loan with a buy option would be preferable, so it would have a minimal impact on our annual costs next season.

He wage is estimated 4.3m net per season and will save Barca 9m gross.

Barca need money. They will want to sell him and to make some plusvalenza, as he was free agent. I hope we don't buy him.

We are evaluating all possibilities. I am optimistic.

Yeah, they pretty much in similar situation to us, but I think it was mainly because of that wage limit rules in Laliga and not so much on capital gain but I could be wrong, not following their news. Also, they have a number of homegrown player that can generate that capital gain for them.

However, it's not that we desperate to sign Kessie but it is Barcelona needs to get rid of him anyway. Also, unless there is a significant turnover in the midfield this summer, we are not in desperate need of a midfielder. We simply need to fill Gagliardini's position, perhaps we might end up signing someone like Roberto Perreyra anyway.

Obviously, Kessie is a good upgrade compared to Gagliardini, as we may be seeking for someone like him with physical presence in the midfield, a different characteristic to most of our midfielders.

Also, I wouldn't straight swap Brozo for Kessie.
Although Brozo has high wages and older than him, he still crucial to our gameplay and most importantly, it will a trade between atleast a key player and their reserve player, in my opinion.
