Inter had been linked with signing Nacho many times over the last few seasons and even held talks with the defender’s entourage.

Nacho has already decided to leave Real Madrid at the end of his contract in June and has offers from the MLS.

However, he still hasn’t decided whether he wants to leave Europe or only Real Madrid, so Inter are keeping an eye on the experienced defender who, according to Gazzetta, has already rejected an offer from his ex-teammate Xabi Alonso, the current Bayer Leverkusen coach.

Not to mention he is a bench warmer during the majority of his time at Real. He is not up there like the veterans you mentioned.

Nacho played a total of 2940 minutes this season in one of the top 3 clubs in Europe. He would do just fine here if he came as a rotating option. His experience in Spain doesn’t matter, what matters is that he is experienced as hell in champions league.
Though I would also prefer someone like Buongiorno or Hermoso, but money talks here.

He's kinda found renewed form since the away game against Man City, but Nacho was borderline a disaster for Madrid between ~Nov. thru March or so. Multiple red cards, at fault for late goals that threw away wins, got abused by Leipzig in the second leg, and also someone with zero experience playing in a back-3.

Look, for any meager sum of money, I'm probably not gonna say no, and the fact that Nacho has won more Champions Leagues than Inter as a club has means he at least knows a thing or two about what a Champions League winning club looks like (fwiw, he'll probably be starting against Dortmund), but if we're talking anything in terms of sizable wages or multi-year term, forget it. It's not gonna be a good ROI. Nacho's form was so bad earlier this season that Ancelotti literally started Tchouaméni - a CDM by trade - at CB in the first leg against Man City even with a yellow card risk attached instead of starting Nacho; Nacho only got the nod in the second leg because Tchou did get carded in the first leg and there was literally no other option.

Please no…. I don’t rate him good enough defensively, he makes some absolute dreadful decisions at times. I always found him incredibly overrated, no wonder if Barca is finally seeing the sense of it and pushing him out.

I don't see Di Lorenzo as a rwb more a RCB in a 3-5-2. He won't offer anything more then darmian. Would want a more technical offensive rwb.

There aren’t many attacking wingbacks that’ll satisfy this forum. Particularly RWB. I predict a lot of disappointment in this position group by the end of summer.
