Gimenez had a heavy setback in 2024. He’s really bad the last couple of months. It’s partly because of his age offcourse. But I also doubt he is the right choice for us. He’s a pure poacher. He could give Lautaro a break from time to time tho.

I would like the other two more. Boniface is pure class. Injury prone tho. Zirkzee would offer some flair to our attack. Which I would like very much.

Three complete different profiles. Would be an interesting choice.

Obvious nonsense. We'd have to spend money just to get rid of Arna and we already have Taremi coming in on bosman wages. Only way we're spending any real money on a striker is if Toro or Thuram are sold

Guarro has generally been good with news it feels, so hopefully there is some truth in this rumour. Seems difficult to pull off without selling players though.

Our squad is just too thin. We need depth. That means Bosman signings, or selling someone to fund multiple purchases.

Its definitely one of the things we need, but I don't think selling lautaro who is the least of our problem in attack is the way to go. It's for sure the easiest way though.

Yes, new format bring in more money. I believe prize/TV money but also gate revenues as there's one extra home match next season in the "group" stage (I think it's called league stage).

As for Arnautovic, we bought him for 4m loan + 4m obligation + 2m bonus. Not sure about the financial details with these loan moves but if his book value is 4m or 5m with bonuses, I think we can dump him somewhere maybe with small minusvalenza.

It's more about the guy agreeing to it. As we win the Scudetto, maybe he can consider he got what he wanted at Inter and if the club wants him gone, he'll accept that.

As for how we can finance this high level forward, maybe we sell our youngsters again. Carboni, Esposito and so on.

Zirkzee is completely unrealistic unless we sell one of Thuram or Martinez, which isn’t unlikely to happen. But in any case I would not sell them for getting him but perhaps more because Martinez market value is unlikely to rise any further and if we can get a +100mil for him it’s just to much to refuse, as such sum’s could be used for a couple of good players with potential. Currently selling players is how we finance our market and selling players reaching full market potential is just preferably.

This is just the harsh reality of not having a sugar daddy and your own stadium, we just don’t have the means the make the team go around any other way also his wage demands are getting to a point where we can’t really afford it.
