I doubt Buchanan will return that early, besides it may take more weeks or even months to regain his fitness back.
Transfermarkt expected return date would be on Nov 30, 2024.

Besides perhaps we might even not gonna register him for serie A for this half season, we may reevaluate when registration reopen in winter transfer window.
Obviously he won't registered for UCL list, also since we are adding non homegrown players to replace him, there's slim chance he will be registered in list January either (hopefully we already qualified). So, we will probably gonna loan him out.

Regarding Zielinski, it's an opportunity that we shouldn't miss. We are trying to increase the overall teams quality here.

Yeah I don't see us registering Buchanan for this first part of the season, to any list.

I'm not sure I get the issue with Hermoso and Cabal here at all. The role seems to be exclusively vice-Bastoni and so it makes sense to go for a player who would not necessarily expect to be a starter, in the way Bisseck does not expect to start ahead of Pavard. Hermoso would expect to start, is more expensive, isn't going to get much better and will have no resale value.

The only reason I could so see in Hermoso's favour here would be if he could also play CCB and Cabal could not, but I haven't seen any indication either would be a good fit there.

Exactly. I'd rather believe Marotta suggested Oaktree to play the "Good cop/Bad cop" strategy he wants Hermoso but Oaktree didn't accept his (& his agents) requests. Hermoso’s move now.

That's how he managed to get Hermoso to drop his requested from 5M to just 3.5M, proving he really wants Inter. He will probably keep him waiting until the younger player is signed.

Waiting game will work with Denzel as well, he will sign on Inter terms.

Younger player (say Cabal) - leak into press they the budget is only 10M (which might be true if Carboni is not sold). This way whoever is selling, knows Inter "can't" pay more.

These are our wingbacks going into this season unless Dumfries is sold. When Buchanan comes back we’ll see what happens. Ideally we start to phase Darmian out, but you know how Inzaghi is.

The idea of Dumfries repeating his injury issues of last season and poor Matteo Darmian being ordered to stumble up and down the right wing for months on end doesn't appeal. Surely developing Bisseck for that role could work, though I would like to also see him tried in the CCB role.

I am excited about him going to Juve as a Colombian under Motta. I think for us he is a huge waste of money at 10m for a player who will never ever bench DiMarco or Bastoni. Think under Motta he can make him a stud and actually uses young players. For us again massive waste of money haha
