My bad. I failed to mention few things about the player for those who haven't watched him play.

Good with ball on his feet, physical, fast, aerial threat, great in tackles. He used to be error prone when he was playing on the side but ever since Alonso moved him to the middle he's really amazing.

As with de Vrij and Acerbi, Bijol has been playing at the centre of a back three. This perfectly suits his physical attributes and defensive awareness.

And Bijol also caught the eye with Slovenia at the Euros this summer. There, he effectively marked big name strikers such as Harry Kane, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

I guess his salary would be lower than Tah's?

Oumar Solet, who was linked to us multiple times, from Red Bull Salzburg has terminated his contract. So he’s a free agent now.

Really don’t know why. As he was a regular starter for them until this season. He hasn’t seen a minute so far. Maybe some personal issues?

Wonder if we are still interested. Although we don’t really have room for him atm.

Inter is becoming an elite club with the directors mostly doing "surgical" transfers. I doubt Solet is going to be signed by Inter.

According to Fichajes, Inter and Juventus are vying for the possibility to be considered as the Dutchman’s next destination.

If Liverpool were willing to let him run his contract down and leave for free in 2025, that’s not only the strongest of decisions from Slot, but also one that could define his own time at the club.

Would be an upgrade on De Vrij.

Yeah, I didn't say it will happen. Just reporting the few rumours available following the closing of the transfer window.

Oaktree didn't want to add squad depth high earners (that don't even play), which makes sense from an asset appreciation perspective. We are yet to see their stance on potential starters.

There are talks of an extension as we speaks so I doubt he's going anywhere.

It's reported Inter is still interested in Tah and that he has the same agency as Pavard so the relationship should be good. Also that if Bayern, Barca etc won't offer him a lot, we might have a shot at 5M net salary offer.

These clubs can obviously offer more, technically, but let's see how this develops. I would see Bayern having a clear route for this signing.

Interestingly, Tah's agent (or one of them) is Mr Bielefeld, a former transfer reporter for Sky Ger. So basically Plettenberg's predecessor. Pletti wants that smoke again like in Pavard saga.
