Interestingly, Tah's agent (or one of them) is Mr Bielefeld, a former transfer reporter for Sky Ger. So basically Plettenberg's predecessor. Pletti wants that smoke again like in Pavard saga.

I didn't know Max is Pavard agent. Interesting.

I don't think he can (if Militao is healthy). He's good but he's not that good. Especially in a system that doesn't protect his weaknesses. But for many players it's hard to say no to Real. They're considered THE club in the world.

They do in the worst way, I'm just not a big fan of Tah in a 2cb set up. I think Xabi's system at Leverkusen does well in masking his biggest weaknesses. It's why I promote him for Inter. If we played with 2 CB's I wouldn't be interested.

Tah has indeed excelled playing in a back three at Leverkusen, which means that he might suit Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system more easily than in some of the other top clubs in Europe.

I'm fine passing on Tah. We likely can't compete with other clubs for him anyway. The OakTree preference for players under 25 is the real alarm.

The problem isn't the policy itself. FSG also have a similar policy at Liverpool. It becomes a problem if Oaktree want to dictate the transfer policy but they're not willing to provide the funds for management to implement it. You can't make Bisseck or Palacios type of signings on a regular basis. If you want to have a project of youngsters with resale value, you need to pay to get them.

Also i am not sure if Inzaghi is the right coach for such a project but that's a secondary problem.

As for David, i honestly don't know why people are against him. He can score goals, he's consistent, he's young, he has never had any serious injuries and he's available on a free. He's a no brainer for me.

This. It you want to count on a youth philosophy you need several farm teams like Red Bull and have your Primavera play in Serie C. Also you need a coach who counts on youth like Pep for instance. Oaktree needs to find a middle ground or next banter era will begin soon

The serial cheaters are eager to get the 28-year-old in the January transfer window, but they need to sell one player first and hope Tah accepts a salary of around €4m-€5m per year.

I'm not convinced at all that Tah will end up at Inter.
