Why should Bastoni's best position be changed because of a new young inexperienced defender who is not even left footed? That doesn't even make sense. If he comes he better gets adjusted for the center of defence which needs reinforcement with de Vrij leaving and Acerbi getting older and older.

I'm just riffing ideas of what our management is thinking.

Why would we want to have 3 LCB, especially since Acerbi and Bisseck can also play there? The guy from Spezia is welcomed here, but Palacios needs to be sent away on loan

Bastoni CCB is as a bad idea as Mbappe center as Vinicius already on the left wing. Italy has that luxury because it doesn't cost anything to acquire Calafiori. But for a club.. not so much.

Imo Palacios isnt bought for Inter. But Inter B. Currently he trains with the first team temporarily only because his real team hasn't been created yet. Next season we still need Bastoni sub (move Augusto permanently to LWB), and a starting worthy CCB.

Doekhi seems interesting target. Fairly good priced still. But watch out for Giuntoli and his never ending appetite for Inter linked targets.

Bijol right now I'd stay away, also Hien will cost alot because its Atalanta.

He looks a great player - quick, mobile, strong, the whole package. I remember him being linked with Inter around the time Verona were having their fire sale, but nothing progressed and he went to Atalanta for just 9m euros.

Murillo was linked with Real, not City. As for his performances at Inter, he looked great here for 6 months because Felipe Melo was in the form of his life in that period. Once he turned into shit, midfield wasn't protecting defence from conceding chances anymore and Murillo weaknesses were exposed.

Melo as much as many hate him when he went back to Brazil he won 4 international championships 3 of our champions leagues and 1 (europa league equivalent.
