Scalvini is back for Atalanta so i vote we go for him! Give them some of our dead wood to drop the price.

Sorry but he's not back. Scalvini had a fall during training, which has led to a partial dislocation of his shoulder:

“Unfortunately Scalvini had a problem with his shoulder today. He had a subluxation, so he won’t be there tomorrow,” Gasperini confirmed on Monday evening.

It was more recently reported that Hien caught the eyes of Inzaghi. Should be also more affordable.

The problem with Scalvini here is we simply don't have a place to play him. He's a wide centerback. We already have Bastoni, Pavard, and you can include Bisseck in there at this point. And none of them play as a middle center back, and neither does Scalvini. He's a fantastic talent who I'd love to have as well, and there's always a part of me that says "collect the best talent you can then figure out how to fit them together after", but we're operating on a budget here, Scalvini feels like he'd be a luxury purchase during a time when we have actual needs to address first.

yea kind of a waste of our whole budget last season but then again we didnt think Bisseck would be as good as he is. He is a luxury player we just dont have the money for. Could have been better reinvested for a 3rd striker or a better RB.

we just dropped 30m on pavard , 8 million on the Canadian guy, gave Dumfries a new contract, 15 m on a random GK that never going to play and 6 million on a super tall Argie CB that never going to play? .... all kind of bad moves

then its like why cant' we afford players

Pavard is an option to be sold. Bisseck is ready for the starting role and im not sure we can have a a 30 mil signing sitting on the bench. Doubt it would be re invested correctly though. Even if we can only recoup 20/30 mil for him.

He helped us win the Scudetto and played a major role in it, not the least of which his game against Juventus in February when it was still only a one point gap in the table. Pavard was excellent for most of last season, what the hell are we talking about?

Pavard was and is still solid. We never know how good is Bisseck improving, the German kid has had bad games this season as well. We’re blessed that he has showed good aspects and ready to take further steps but I don’t think Pavard is a bad investment.

Yerry Mina is injured every 3 games for 3 games. He also can't jump anymore so doesnt score headers even tho he 6'5.

At Inter, Gatti would be in the transfer list. He would be loaned or sold. Not good enough at all.
