Cristian Romero only spent one year at Atalanta but he's far from one of Tottenham's biggest problems.

Otherwise, at least in the last five years or so, their CBs have either been young talents they haven't sold yet (like Scalvini) or mostly older players who aren't going to have much re-sale value or likely much to give at a top club period once they leave the club...I'm talking the Toloi's, Palomino's, Djimsiti, Kolasinac types.

I mean, we talk a lot about Gasperini's system helping inflate attack-minded players, right? When it comes to center backs, about the most progressive thing he'll do - something we've seen with Conte and Inzaghi as well, mind you, and especially so with Bastoni - is activate wide centerbacks to create overloads in the channels. Otherwise, I don't really know what else he does with centerbacks that would leave them susceptible to value inflation and, again, given that he tends to rely on older players along the backline, they won't sell for much anyway. Gosens and Maehle didn't really take big steps after leaving Atalanta but they're wingbacks obviously, that's different.

Think about de Vrij under Conte or Skriniar in certain formation.

Just saying, Hien and Bukema are both trash. They are where they belong. If the club wants to make another Bisseck signing they should look at Jeremy Jaquet.

Otherwise a better option that know the league would be Diego Coppola. Already having a good season, playing good minutes, Italian and has huge upside

Trash? We don't need another Beckenbauer, just somebody who could be slot in the middle of the defence and be a menace for attackers. Beukema is good enough in this case, I feel he would surprise with better players around him. And even him is not just that.

Somewhat on the subject of Romero, he apparently wants out of Tottenham - if that's the case, I'd make him the number 1 target for the CCB position. He's a big hothead, but with two relatively cooler profiles (Bastoni-Pavard) besides him we could probably mitigate it enough.

Experienced, good man-marker, physical, tall, decent with the ball.

Probably don't need to remind you that negotiating with Levy when he's not in a forced position (contract expires 2027) and we're talking someone who will be 27 in the summer (not old, actually perfect CB age, but...Oaktree) and won't be cheap...don't waste brain space on this one.

Plus you can guarantee he'd sell to the highest bidder, which wouldnt be us!

Argentinean reporters joked on whether Lautaro ever asked Zanetti to bring his compatriot ‘Cuti’ Romero to San Siro.
“It’s not easy because we are talking about very expensive players,” Zanetti replied, smiling.

“The club’s sustainability is a challenge for everyone and a fundamental aspect.

“Romero is a complete defender. I was saying before the interview that Argentina can rely on a defender who knows how to play, who marks well, is focused and is a leader. I really like him a lot. He’s one of those old-school, complete defenders. He has proved to be a key player for Argentina.” - Zanetti

I'd love Romero and he'd fit in well here but he will be sold off to the highest bidder in the summer or stay at Spurs. I think Inzaghi is going to prioritize another forward this summer as he didnt really get the one he wanted last summer and Taremi has busted. I think we'll be looking at spending on a defender next summer and maybe going with a cheaper stop gap in the defense this summer.

Cuti has every right to want out of Tottenham in order to win something in his club career, but we don't have the means to deal with Levy. So good luck to any other club willing to meet Levy's demands in order to sign Romero.

Hey, if a man can't dream about Internazionale FC signing a big-ish name on Forza Inter Forums, where can he?

0:28 - don't like these blunders, Hien costed Atalanta the match.

Solet - Welcome to Inter. Joined Udinese for free after his contract was terminated with 1 year remaining... Anyone knows why?

Hien, Solet, Beukema

It will come down to the price. Atalanta and Bologna will demand premium since these clubs played in UCL. Udinese could be easier negotiation. I would prefer Solet too.

Hien is actually the worst in DataMB , Acerbi beats all of these mentioned. Our 37 year old Viking

I am 100% on Solet after watching him for one game. I wonder how he would do in the center of a back 3, as that’s what we really need.

So we are in a dire need for a new CB to replace acerbi who is barely alive nowadays. We need a new mf to replace the Armenian grandpa asap. We need some backup strikers since our backup strikers don’t even exist. Our goalie needs to be replaced cause who the fuck knows what’s going to happen to him next season. And yet we are interested in a winger/wingback? This totally makes sense. Great job Inter management

to me its the figures that don’t make sense to me.

30M on a rwb.. when our second best player this season is Dumfries.

If we have that much money to throw around then why not break the bank to get a striker?
