I've read that we are ready to offer him around 4mln salary, which doesn't seem too much for me. I can see PSG or some EPL clubs offering him easily more.

To fight with Thuram for a starting spot. Thuram isn't a world class player who's an undisputed starter. As we saw last season he's inconsistent.

Inzaghi almost always starts both of them because our substitutions like grill master and arnaWood are full shit. So David can be the third number quite easily and the third number will get a lot of time on the pitch especially having more than 55 games in the season

I`m not sure Inter will be offering a starting spot, either. He will have to earn it. But with so many matches on the agenda, he would surely be a top quality addition..

The Athletic suggest that there had been an approach from Chelsea over the summer, but a move to Stamford Bridge did not materialise.
