This is the closest squad we’ve had to possibly winning another UCL why not go for it? If we win the league that comfortably why not play for more?
You do realize we're owned by a hedge fund that has zero inclination to give us the transfer budget required to acquire a player capable of replacing Thuram, right?

The fact we even have a second striker of Thuram's caliber is a miracle.

Thuram doesn't have it?

Scored against Benfica, Torino, AC Milan in both games, Napoli, Roma, Fiorentina, Udinese, Lazio, ...

From a player that is only now becoming a striker, that's pretty good for his first season at Inter. Could he do better in certain situations? Sure, but which player plays flawlessly for us every game?

It seems like we dodged a bullet with Balogun but missed out with Ilenikhena.

Jubentus open talks for sought-after free agent David

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Bianconeri director Giuntoli has initiated contacts with the player’s representatives to understand the potential fees of the deal.
Did they change the 6 months contact rule? Or it's just the usual Rubentus cheating again

Despite leaving Lille as a free agent, signing Jonathan David would still entail significant spending.

Back in the summer, Lille were ready to sell him for a fee in the region of €20-25m, but his agent reportedly asked for a €5m signing bonus last summer, which added to a wage demand nearing €6m per season.

Many teams backed off following such requests, but the agent’s commission could even be higher next summer, when the player will be able to sign for free.
There you go. Costs of Arnautovic + Correa = David

Everyone does that. We do that aswell. Don't be naive.

We did that with Thuram. We did that with Zielinski and Taremi.

We probably do it indirectly. For instance with Thuram - he knew we wanted him way back (for a transfer fee), before the Correa disaster happened. It was then easier to just keep in touch.

With Zielinski and other free agents - I don`t remember info leaking that we have contacted the player early. At least we try to keep the appearances.

It happened, there were rumors of Zielinski to Inter already last autumn. Taremi we surely kept touch with him after that summer when we couldn't sign him. Thuram same thing, we sure as hell contacted him before February 2023 (as there were shit tons of rumors already before and during January if we would get him in that window already).

Currently David offcourse, by some distance. Sebastiano however is doing great at Empoli atm. His numbers are okay-ish, but he’s playing great i hear. Pio is developing really well. But probably should spend some years on loan before being ready for Inter.

Yeah let's Francesco Pio cook for this season in B and see if he can carry the starting CF role there and score a bunch while doing it. Next step would be moving to A and try doing the same thing there.

Last player that worked with was Dimarco and even then we didn’t want to give him a shot
