Anyone who has seen him play more than once?
He's got a great attitude, plays anywhere along the front line, works hard, isnt afraid of being physical and 5 goals in 22 games is amazing for a 20 year old in his first season in Serie A. He'll catch your eye if you watch Bologna. Plus he's Argentinian. I bet Zanetti has already got his phone number! Buy him then loan him back for a season or 2 unless someone offers 100m for Martinez this summer in which case...

18m according to https://www.transfermarkt.com/santiago-castro/profil/spieler/849520

Inter have joined the race to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah on a free transfer next summer and are prepared to sell Marko Arnautovic, Mehdi Taremi and Joaquin Correa to make sufficient room in their wage budget. (Fichajes - Spain)

Hilarious. As if we could afford Salah when the Saudis can offer billions for 5 minutes work.

he still wants to win shit. I mean he played for Roma so not like he wont play in Italy. We would just need to completely change our style of play for him which I dont think we would do.

also anything more than a 1-2 year deal for a guy that old with the wages he would want is insane. we can give him lautaros wages and see what he can do. He probably not going to be cool with rotation either since he isnt when he gets subbed out at Liverpool.

I think Salah is a great player, but going for him would be silly.

David on the other hand, seeing how bad our strikers bar Thuram are this season, is welcomed.

Arsenal have joined Aston Villa and Newcastle in the race for Bologna's highly rate forward Santiago Castro. (CaughtOffside)

Salah does not fit the Oaktree project, let alone make sense sporting wise.

That source is ridiculous, does not even deserve a chat.

Oaktree and their project get the fuck off. You can't win a CL by bringing inexperienced youngsters. Resale value or what the fuck ever, we need impactful player whom can basically fill the gap of quality between our starting eleven and bench players.

It's obvious that our bench isn't good enough to take over when rotation is necessary.

I'm not saying bring Dzeko back, because it makes no sense either, but there's still some players around 30ish whom are capable of making difference.

So you can win CL by bringing grandpas? Which team?

Who is the so-called "youngster" that took over when necessary but not good enough, Frattesi or Zielinski or Arnautovic?

There is no exact critera here, why do you have to make it everything look like science based? I just said that we need adequate players that will help the team remain competitive. It doesn't necessary have to be old or young, as long as that player is impactful in our style of play, that's completely fine.

You can cash in youngsters while for dinosaurs you are burning money only. Paying them costs a too.

Fuck youngsters when they are the source of generating cash, then you are supporting to sell Lautaro or Thuram?

If that is so. There will be a conflict between Limone and oaktree. He definitely doesn't want to use 18-22 type of youngsters

I find it odd that anyone can assume there is a specific formula for building a Champions League winning side when PSG and Man City have spent billions and have a single title between them. All you can do is build the best team you can within your budget and hope that through resourceful planning, good strategy and a bit of luck that will take you far. By going far this should generate more money that can be re-invested back into the team to make it that little bit stronger the next campaign.

Yes you are entirely true. That project needs to be sustainable. But the Suning's project which bleeds tens of millions annually is far from that (Zhang lost his club as the evidence).

Fans basically ask Oaktree to be a sugardaddy with instant noodle solutions... well, be realistic. They care their money, as any of us, resale value is a must.

Ofc it's easy to tell them to fuck off because that's not your money. But honestly anybody here would do differently in their position?
