Vlahovic has been so all over the place at Juventus i no longer know what he is or isnt good at anymore.
Is there still a player in there?
I'd prefer Kuolo Muani.

Pretty much I'd prefer Kolo Muani right now as well.

The only thing about Vlahović that I really like is his prideful cuntiness, he might become a monster for us out of spite for Juventus, but at this moment I'm afraid he would cost us too much and I'm afraid of the risk. We already have two very moody strikers and 3 barely good bench options. Going for another moody striker is maybe not the solution.

There’s potential upside there for sure, but also big risk as he’s completely off it at Juve. He can still be lethal, although he hasn’t shown it much in a while and certainly isn’t earning his high wage.

Castro is my pick. He’s the ideal target imo— fits oaktree parameters, suited to a front 2, quick, strong, competent finisher, huge margin for growth, and has named Milito as one his favorite players 😃 Plus Bologna is likely to be easier to try and do more creative deals with. There are a few interests in play here with Castro, Fabbian, Ndoye, Asllani (per some rumors), and I’m sure they have some interest in some of our academy players as well. No brainer if we can pull it off.

So, how do you guys feel about David? Is he the right player for the third option in attack?

Absolutely the correct player and could become a starter. Problem is we cant issue him a big enough salary to offset the fact he isnt a nailed on starter.

David will probably end up in PL also Castro is a Lautaro regen, hardly a finisher.

If top 4 club isn't signing David, I doubt they can pay his salary demand. Also the agent is asking like 10M on top (signing bonus+fee for him).

Is it Arsenal then who would target him? United have forwards, City don't use such forwards (and there's Haaland), Chelsea have strikers? Liverpool have strikers?

Jonathan David, Moise Kean, Castro are all legit, but the thing is if Lautaro kept getting roasted here, I am 100% the others will too.
Toro is at least 1 tier above all those guys listed, and those guys are not even offering something Toro cannot offer, like Julián Álvarez or Thuram for example can offer something else in the game.

They would be decent option as backup, but definitely not good enough as potential Thuram replacement.

Daizen Maeda is a good option, a bit older than new required policy (27 year old) but he’s cheap, I think he will accept backup role for us. He is blazing fast and presses relentlessly, imo he’s better as striker than winger.

If you had to choose two in this group of Paz (added here because he can play in attack like Sanchez), David, Krstović, Castro or Kean - what would be cheap enough but worth it?

Probably David + Krstović

Liverpool will be looking for new strikers.
