But who is the actual source of the report?
Schira.

But he's wanted by 10 clubs most probably. One better than the other.

Would be crazy to get him though.

Way too good a player to take a bench role. We're gonna sign Castro and im fine with it. David would be ideal though.

I’ll say it now before we inevitably sign him - I don’t get the Castro hype at all. A much worse Lautaro who wouldn’t bring anything new to our attack.
Zanetti was asked about Bologna’s Santiago Castro, who has been heavily linked with a move to Inter:
“Santi Castro is doing well at Bologna. It’s beyond the goals he scores; he is always involved in every game he plays,” Zanetti argued.
Castro is passing the eye test at 20 years old in Serie A.

I like Castro, but I agree with @YoramG that the primary issue is he doesn't offer anything new to the attack. I really want someone with pace.
So he is basically new Frattesi but in attack. And will also cost as much as Frattesi and people said that is too much for a backup.

Dude, he's 20! Cant make judgements on him at that age. We'd be buying potential and he'd be 3rd choice so would get some minutes and acclimatise to being at a huge club.
38 games, 10 goals and 8 assists. For a 20 year old!

Providing we dont overpay I dont see what the issues is - who else is in our options?
I'm not so much thinking about him in a vacuum, because yes he's a decent enough player with room to grow. However, if we're having one of those games where Lautaro and Thuram are stinking the place up and we need something new on the pitch, I don't think throwing on what is essentially younger and worse Lautaro would do anything for us.

However, the striker market is so unbelievably bare at the moment that Castro might be our best option, and if that's the case, then I'll support him obviously. We just need different characteristics in the roster; Asensio would have been perfect for a couple of years for some dribbling, David at least is pacey and seems like a better finisher than Lautaro. Hell, I'm no massive fan of Arda Guler but I'd welcome someone like him at the moment with open arms.

Scamacca would fit like a glove in our scheme, but I'm not sure if having him, Lautaro and Thuram at the same time would've been a good idea. Otherwise he's such an entertaining player and would bring another dimension to our game. He's managed to redeem himself at Atalanta, but he's also been quite unlucky with injuries.
Scamacca is a mental midget and injury prone. Hard pass.

Mose Kean plays like a target man for them. I'm not sure how he will fit in our system. He could be a massive flop for us.

I reckon the post could go in the defenders rumours thread, as we're clearly seeing him as an option for the right wing back position.

I haven't seen it yet, but I've read that he's having a breakthrough season under De Zerbi, after he switched him from left winger to right wing back. I also read a post that was a bit sceptical and said this could just be a one-season wonder.
We certainly won't spend €30m on a wingback from Ligue 1.

But the good thing is, I think this is the first solid rumour about a wingback from a tier 1 source.

we'll have to have a talk about how fullbacks aren't wingbacks
