Looking at how desperately we need a striker today and the lack of quality strikers in today's football , compared to times we had R9, Baggio, Zamorano, Vieri Recoba and even young Mutu in the same squad( wild!) makes me want to cry.

To bad we had Lippi back then...

The striker department really needs good back up next season. It would make a world difference to this team.
Any player that has decent finishing would florish under Inzaghi's system & Thuram, LM would finally get some needed rest during the season.

It's the media bringing the names which are usually the best performing players in Serie A on that position that match Oaktree's policy (which excludes Luka Jovic BTW). Really not hard to guess.

PS: It's widely known Inter were following Castro even before he was signed by Bologna.

Not exactly similar but perhaps Evan Guessand from Nice has some similar characteristics.
He's more of a winger who can play forward, like Thuram. Whereas Cunha is similar to Firmino or Diogo Jota who are trequartista/support striker hybrids.

I'm afraid it's too expensive, somewhere around 60 million. The option of buying Chiesa for 20m, bringing back Pio Esposito and extending Arnautovic for another year looks better.
