How reliable is Pedulla these days?

Donnarumma had Some unbelieveable saves last night. That shot from Odegaard he saved really was unbelieveable. But besides that he keeps having those shaky moments every game.

9 mln net is too much and it will break the balance in the club. If we give him 9 mln, Barella, Bastoni, Thuram also could ask for the same.

It's legit guys.

Issue is that there can always be a higher bidder.

inter probably owed some plusvalenza deal to genoa or just wanted to have a decent back up gk
Yeah, I thought the same. I reckon there were some dodgy deals going on back then. Pinamonti and Radu deal, Salcedo and the other Primavera player got sold for a inflated price, etc. Despite the fact that Salcedo end up costing on our books up to now.

I think it's fair to say that J. Martinez is still a decent GK. He's also coming off the back of a good season at Genoa.
We also had issues with the backup GK before, so having a decent backup is probably the main reason.
Perhaps some of us are just irritated that the sum could be used to strengthen other positions instead and when the deals are happening.

Martinez is actually a good back up goalie. And if by some chance we don't get Donnarumma (could happen), we still have a young enough GK getting ready for the big stages.

In case we sign Donnaruma it becomes even more questionable why exactly we’ve splashed 15M on some Spanish no-name goalie
Simple. Cause we didn't know Donnarumma will be available.

And you can easily make a profit on Martinez.

That supposed 9m euro wage offer from Inter would be a drop in salary for him and why would he expect a drop if he was coming without a transfer fee. There's a good chance that Donnarumma's people are playing up Inter links simply for leverage to get the deal from PSG they want.

I still don't see him fitting demone's game plan. But we will see.

His play with the ball at his feet has improved but I think Sommer is better at this aspect, Martinez too. It's been a real issue building from the back this season against teams that press and so the team needs as much footballing nous as it can get, something I'm not sure Donnarumma adds despite his command and shot-stopping skills.

It's a bit like Mbappe and Real Madrid though, Inter don't really need him but would struggle to pass up getting him for no fee.

Could you imagine seeing him get pressed into oblivion against a team like Barca with the amount of touches we ask our goalkeeper to make? We would have to adjust the way we play just to accommodate the goalie. Whether or not that’s worth having one of the best shot stopper/ penalty savers and commanders of the box in the game is another thing.

Donnarumma is 26 on 13m/s wages..... per google Lautaro makes 16.7m. These are prob gross wages tho

giving in a 4-5 year 9-10m deal is still less than what we sold Onana haha

I get his wages breaks our budget bill but we'd also get a 50m player for free.

Lautaro/Thuram/Barella will get wage boost as well. But we haven't had that many world class players in a long long time

Probably worth it for top 3 GK in the world.

I think it's just too expensive, specially given if they force him to move this summer if he doesn't extend. Meaning it's fee + big salary.
