Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye confirms that Inter made an approach for him this summer.

The Nerazzurri needed a goalkeeper to act as understudy and future heir to Switzerland international Yann Sommer, so had zeroed in on Okoye.
The interest from Inter was concrete, but Udinese were asking for €15m to buy me,” the shot-stopper told Transfermarkt.

It would’ve been a dream, but I don’t regret how things went. I am happy to still be at this club, to be the Number 1 here. The situation could repeat itself if I keep working hard and maintain constant performances.

“I want to stay in Italy, this is a choice I have made. I like this land, the people in it and the atmosphere. I am happy in Udine and want to take the club high with as many pooints as possible.”
I don't mind not having Okoye.

How's Bento doing?

According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Inter are planning another swoop for the Partenopei, this time for goalkeeper Meret.

His current agreement at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona only runs to June 2025 and negotiations have dragged on for some time
Not the Meret rumours again 🤦

Remember Inter spent the whole budget on a keeper that never got a start?

to trade him for a player that will be loaned out for a year or 2 to develop is going to be funny

Lol there's absolutely no way he's coming here under the OakTree model.

25 at least lol. Too bad his wages would cost more than the club itself.

Gigi does need to come back to Italy or go to the prem. I hate seeing italian players wasting away in that fodder league.

I mean he's young and he has resale value. :D

Jokes aside, i had checked his salary recently and it's around 6m net. It would be hilarious for so many reasons but never gonna happen.

1. Beppe wants Italian backbone, he's still in his prime even in 2026 summer. His wages are not that high. We could negotiate it to 5M€ net, there's no Raiola anymore. Sommer gets 2.5M€ net.

2. He's missing serious trophies from Italy. Celebrated only 1 SuperCoppa with Milan and thats it. Will be motivated to win more.

3. Hakan rule. Players milanisti hate will always do well here lol

So should Dollarumma come we agree Martinez is a flop? No need to "prove on the pitch" if he isn't good enough to step on to begin with.

If he comes back it will be for Milan but they already have their GK for the next 5 years. I doubt he will come back to play for anyone else. Or Juve because for some reason those fanbases love each other.

Who’s saying that?

He’s always kinda shit when i see him play, so maybe that isn’t the worst.

I saw a picture of a young Donnarumma in an Inter jersey, so maybe he was one of us in his younger years?

I would say that it's almost likely that Donnarumma will join us, if he's for free in June. Inter needs a new GK soon, of course you take the National team GK if there is the chance to get him. For him it's also a good choice at the end. And there are not much alternatives. Juve and Milan don't need him. Maybe some premier league club, like Newcastle. But at this point he would stay at PSG if it's only for the money. Inter is probably the only top club that need a new GK next summer.

Eh, Donnarumma is fine as a post-Sommer in terms of goalkeeping ability but if we're sticking with Inzaghi, who has a system that heavily relies on a keeper that is at least competent with his feet, then Donnarumma is a really, really, really bad choice.
Yup. There were a lot of reports that Inzaghi picked Josep Martinez over Bento and Di Gregorio because Martinez is better with his feet. Di Gregorio is easily a better shot stopper than Martinez.

But we also need to see if Inzaghi stays. Got that feeling from a while that he will leave us for City.

Really? Juve fans say Di Gregorio is their best GK handling ball with his feet.
