I don't think we currently have a 5/5 player that is great in high pressure situations every time, but on the other hand we do have a lot of 4/5 players that just had their best season.

Especially Barella and Lautaro.

I don't think there's a player in the world who is great in high pressure situations every time.

World class discussion is not too fruitful given everyone has their own definition for it.

As far as i know Barella is the greatest sardinian to ever play, one of the best italian midfielders.

Would like us to keep our eyes open for a Sicilian, for any position.

The real problem is that aren’t many grass pitches in Sicily. 80% of the dudes there are playing in dirt, artificial grass, or on concrete.

The players from my hometown team, who play in 2nd Category Group C Sicily (😆), have probably only played on grass pitches a small handful of times. There just isn’t much water available to support grass growth and making the transition to another surface is hard. It’s not for a lack of passion for the game.

Obviously there are other reasons we don’t see many Sicilian footballing talents, but I think this is an often overlooked one.

Sry to hear Sicily is in such shape. I know the northerners dont like southerners especially sicilians so im not surprised they dont really invest in them, though i think we have a kid in the primavera.

My family came from outside Palermo, i was really excited when City group bought them but they havnt seemed to invest in them.

Doubt we gonna get him for free or that juve will be put in that situation, especially knowing guintoli and how much that would piss him off.

Pedulla said juve already gave him ultimatum.
Which makes it a sweet revenge for Bremer + Djalo + Cabal.

What ultimatum? 😆 Are they going to exclude him from the squad?

It should be remembered that Marotta is a great admirer and the relationship with his entourage is excellent. Although Chiesa officially moved to Turin at the beginning of October 2020, the agreement between him and Exor's club was reached long before, when the current Inter president and was still the most important manager - beyond Andrea Agnelli - of Juventus.

Marotta defeated the Nerazzurri competition, presenting a better economic proposal and project to the family and the boy's representative at the time, namely the lawyer Bozzo.

Chiesa to Inter for free: “Marotta a master of free transfers. I believe in him a lot”

The Inter free transfer track is taking shape more and more, at least from a media point of view. Mario Mattioli was clear on 'Radio Radio': "The Nerazzurri are masters at taking valid free transfers, because there is a master to manage it like Marotta. I believe very much in the Chiesa-Inter hypothesis, also because I don't see any teams interested in investing for him, who is no longer the same player after the injury".

Marotta anticipates the possible Chiesa move on a free transfer (LaPresse)

Former Roma striker Roberto Pruzzo echoes Mattioli : "There are no conditions to sell Chiesa in this transfer window. They told me that he has no intention of moving from his current salary, in fact he would like something more. The only thing that can happen is that some agent finds a solution, but it is very complicated. Juve will have to settle for using him as best as possible for this season, then we'll see".
I doubt anyone will give Chieva a raise on his current 5M salary, so pretty much Giuntoli can do jack shit about it.

This will slowly evolve a Dybala situation where Inter will have the possibility to pull the trigger - for free.

Croatian born in Linz (Austria), just like Kovacic.

Left footed pretty tall midfielder, with contract expiring in 2025. Fits the bill. Let's hope we can beat the competition.
Just found that Luka Sucic said that he does not want to leave for free in a year, but to leave Salzburg already in this summer session.

The Croatian winked at Serie A, "it is one of the best championships in the world", confirming that several Italian clubs are interested in him.
That would be a bit early as we still have Mhiky in great shape.

Perhaps Ausilio could hand in a low-ball offer towards the end of the mercato to anticipate the competition? Just to let the player know he's wanted here. Then in January he could sign the contract.

One player that is a shadow of his former self cannot be "revenge" for 3 players we didn't have the money to buy. If I could choose one of these 4, it would be current Bremer, not Chiesa.

He's gone to Sociedad.

Thanks for the update! He did publicly state that he won't renew his contract, so Salzburg had to sell him ASAP.

3 hours ago — Real Sociedad secures Luka Sučić in €15 million transfer

Last year he suffered a bad knee ligament injury that required surgery, causing him to miss six months. So I won't cry about him.

EDIT: Cristian Volpato of Sassuolo linked to Inter. Plan is to buy him and leave him on loan there (Tessman plan). Sassuolo payed 7.5M for him last summer.

  • Inter didnt`t raise the money for Bremer in time, however for Djaló and Cabal it was decided not to enter a bidding war
  • Chiesa would not be the first player to be rejuvenated at Inter
  • Many journalists argue that his perfomances have been limited by Lord Hexagon tactics and positioning - not deploying Chiesa in the most suitable way
  • It would be a painful blow to Giuntoli because Rubentus invested €12.6M LOAN fee + €44.6M transfer fee on Chiesa. That`s €57.2M down the drain without even considering agent commissions
  • Yes, we already know you`re a Bremer fanboy [it`s been in my signature all this time]. Please try to move on

And we spent about half of that on a horrible Correa. At least Chiesa played good most of the time.

I had no real interest in your point and I made it clear elsewhere what I thought about the prospect of signing him. Surely you understood my issue was with your dehumanising language towards a talented footballer that you claim to know something of his personality when you really do not - see Point E.
Are you sure your not a jube fan? The word cunt gets thrown around all the time here yet you take exception only when chiesa is mentioned?
Also sorry but i ve been watching that cunt since he s 17 he s been acting like a cunt simce then so imma call him a cunt....
Also if you think it s dehumanizing not sure what to say to you.....
If you had no intrest in my point why even answer me to defend the cunt?
Also feel free to block me cause at this point I just enjoy calling him a cunt since i know it somehow bothers you.
Dehumanizing LOL

our best player is barella, him and calha are WC for me

plus we got bastoni and pavard, and lautaro since there is not many players in europe with 20+ goals in top5 leagues

thats it, 5 players, the rest can be happy that they play in CL, let alone playing in CL final

just look at our team without them:

arna-thuram
buchanan-mkhy-asllani-frattesi-dumfries
CA-acerbi-bisseck

what a shitfest
Yeah take the best 5 players from most top teams and it does not look to great... especially in serie A....
Also define WC not like there are many better LWB s out there than dimarco so eithere there are nowc players in that position or we have to consider dimarco to be WC...
