That's what Juve want. This rumour has come from Juve camp for a while. They're setting the tone for what Giuntoli would ask if Beppe approached him for Chiesa.

Of course Inter have no reason to accept it. Chiesa value has hit a new rock bottom (till the next one), he's out of the project and has an expiring contract while Frattesi, despite FIF shitting on him, had a decent first season, has a role in the squad, has 4 years left in his contract and he is 2 years younger.

Said this (at least along these lines) in our latest Inter Jections episode aswell. Following this disaster-waiting-to-happen is arousing. To me Chiesa is not a fit to Inter but us signing him for dirt cheap from Juve, let alone free, would be hilarious.

This. Frattesi swap shit is exactly that.

Us getting rid of Frattesi for Chiesa would be asinine. We would have to get back to market for a midfielder who'd have practically no preseason with the coach and the team. Would make no sense.

Yeah, chiesa is not fit to our way of playing, but I think for him personally the best way to try and revive his career is to switch to striker or second striker position. He lost explosiveness or something after the serious injury he had, which is crucial for a winger and not so much for a striker.

He still has mannerisms and tendencies of a winger, so not sure how that transformation into a striker would work, although imo it's worth a try. Gudmundson it seems is off to fiorentina, so I really hope there is a kernel of truth in all of this chiesa rumors, not just for next year but this summer.

Got mixed feelings on Chiesa as I always rated his style but at this point he is not worth getting even for free. He is definitely still a great attacking wing player but not so much as a wingback the way we are playing. Also after his injury he severely declined physically so he can no longer hound players on the wing and also he is avoiding challenges. Playing him as SS would be a waste and I dont even think he is very adept playing there anyway. Juventus are trying to get rid of him because he is far from recovered post injury and they are well aware of his overall decline.
I see no point signing him free or otherwise.
