I don't blame the players. I blame those who brough them to Inter and gave them those contracts. They earn 3.5m net EACH. They're not finding those salaries elsewhere. Of course they're gonna sit on those contracts as long as possible.
Yeah, these conditions are a dream come true for many out there: earn a lot of money doing nothing without any pressure, live in the city of Milan and possibly win titles they cannot ever win being in the clubs closer to their qualities.

Take Arda Guler who gets no chance at Real to give nonno Miki a breather next season if Paz is a no go.

Now reading Kovačić will leave City in summer, why not try to bring him, ideal replacement for Mhikitaryan. 31 years, so he is a youngster, according to Limone.

He was a promising midfielder when he was with us. IMO the transfer to Madrid was a mistake since he could not gain a consistent play time. I still think he could turn into a great midfielder -at least better than he is now- if he constantly became a starter under a great coach.

Can he replace Hakan as well? Otherwise it depends on his salary, but I don't like the idea of brining too many 30ish players here. If Zielinski leaves for some reason, maybe it is worth to go after Kovacic, but otherwise maybe no

We actually thought he could become a great midfielder, that's why many of us were mad about selling him to RM for a seemingly low price. More so when we used that money to buy Kondogbia who did not turn up to be a successful business.

I was sad when Kovacic left too but not mad. I liked him as a player, because on his good days he was a joy to watch. But IMO he did not turn out to be as good as we imagined.

Kovacic is an interesting idea, but I'm not completely sure if I would want him back. But regarding his style of play, I think his attributes would fit in our scheme. He's exactly that midfielder whom can hold the ball and also good at dribbling. Not someone who scores that much (which we don't desperately need), but work very well under pressure and his explosiveness is something that we were lacking in current midfield.

When Kova was young, he had those amazing runs and pin point passes that aren't really there anymore. Has flashes of it, but nah. Getting a player that is worse than when he left is not the move.

No way! He has always been too reckless with ball on his feet. There's a reason Brozovic was always starting at DM for Croatia while Kovacic had to watch from the bench. Good passing but he doesn't bring the necessary defensive security that the position requires. He's better suited for a more advanced role in mifield where he can do his trademark ball carrying.
