Tessman sounds a little techy to me. Staying in Venice one more year, better enjoy it sonny. You could be slinging burgers at some greasy spoon in Mobile during the graveyard shift.

Juve buying Douglas Luiz valued at 70m and Khephen Thuram valued at 35m (for a combined fee of about 50m plus two nobodies) meanwhile we’re buying some spastic from Serie B. Grande.
Thuram has only 1 year left on the contract and he wanted out, so its fine... douglas luiz transfer is a complete scam.

Yes but one must have 50m cash first to begin the negotiation. Sadly Juve is much more wealthy than Inter.
Inter is still the king of money spent/ value ratio. Taremi and Zielinski are ~45m assets for 0.
Most fans don't wanna sacrifice any starter e.g. Hakan or Lautaro, empty budget is what we must deal with.

Get used to it, because it’s not changing anytime soon unless we get a new owner. The one we have will never spend a dime on a player.

A player needs to be finances by resources available and as we don’t create any profit there no money to be spend unless you sell players.

Juve is in a different situation and their owner allows things ours never will, so they can “afford” to get players with higher valuation and start negotiation, no one want to start negotiations with a club everyone know has nothing to spend.

Our transfer market was doomed the moment we got Oaktree as our owner

Ehhh, I think you guys are victims of the EPL hype that you complain so much about.

Douglas Luiz is good and young-ish but realistically, he's as good as a well-utilized Locatelli. This is Juve re-shuffling their deck, Luiz may fit their system better but 50m is not cheap by any mean. Imagine paying 50m for Locatelli after his best year with Sassoulo and Italy.

Same to Khephren, he will be a big downgrade from Rabiot. Remember, one is starting for France and the other is not even called up.

The situation hasn't changed much, Juve have always had an expensive squad with a lot of quality in there somewhere. It's up to the coach to make the best use of squad.

They paid 28m for him not 50m, the rest is valuations of two nobodies.

Also I wrote somewhere else that what they got is as good as it’s likely to get for getting two players for 50m

Yea remember last year when many guys here thought Bilan transfer strategy was brilliant, then we all knew how they ended up last season

Right, Douglas Luiz, who was among the best midfielders in a stronger league last season + plays for the Brazil national team, is nothing but a glorified Locatelli, a guy who couldnt even get called up to the worst italian NT in ages?

Seriously, how do you people get yourself to write stuff like this.

I feel like Enzo Barrenechea who went the other way in the Douglas Luiz deal is someone to keep an eye on, im rooting for him to be a great player

#Inter has had a verbal bid worth €25M rejected by Monaco for 22-year-old midfielder, Maghnes Akliouche. [via @lequipe]

L'Equipe is on a roll today. First the Pavard story, now this.

Do we even have 2.5m

Love your favorite player :) Agree :)

we just dropped 15m on a backup GK and about to drop 7 on some random 23 year old American we will send on loan and "missed out" on a 8-10 m backup for Dimarco's backup haha

hope we didnt waste 25-30m on players who won't play instead of going for 1 starter or 1 guy who could fight for a starting spot
