There is nothing special about this Morocco team and today they showed the world that they're a bunch of dicks. Gvardiol is so good it makes people overlook how good Sutalo is. Him & Erlic were massive in that Nations League campaign as well.

Croatia thoroughly deserved today's result. What a wonderful footballing nation of less than 4m people.

Honestly, people think their window is closing with this tournament, but I can see them doing well with a three at the back with Gvardiol (20), Sutalo (22), Erlic (24) and Sosa (24) & Stanisic (22) as wingbacks. Livakovic is alright and young enough. Brozovic, Kovacic and Pasalic should also make the next WC barring disasters. Of course, Modric and Perisic will be immensely missed, but they have attackers like Majer, Vlasic, Susic etc. who have not yet entered their primes. If they can unearth maybe a couple of more exciting players in midfield & attack, and somehow sort out the striker issue until then (Musa, Beljo or someone else?), I can see them making waves at the 2024 Euro & 2026 WC.

Congrats deserved more but at the end gave their all.

Would have liked to see Orsic more as a started with Perisic as a LB and a 2 cm pairing of brozo and modric but he opted for a more defensive 433.

Hard luck to as well they were def robbed against France but this game some of the players exaggerate a bit.

Of course they do, especially when the 3rd isn't from a big country. Sweden and Bulgaria 1994, Croatia and Netherlands 1998, Turkey and South Korea 2002 ... Everybody remembers their runs.

If we played whole tournament like yesterday we would play today. Perišić as lb, Orsic as lw, totally dismantled Ziyech and Hakimi, constant threat on the left. Šutalo instead Lovren, and Juranović instead Stanišić. Majer as AM, Modrić and Kova behind. I love Brozo but we played faster and more effective football without him, same happened in Inter with Hakan as regista. We should play like that in future, Brozo can play on Modrić position like yesterday. Dalić finally did good thing and that was our best performance this tournament.

there is always a couple of teams like this, they play 5-6 games with heart and give 100% all the time, but just a couple of them come back to club and continue playing great football

Who are you talking about? I think most of this Croatia team will do good with their clubs as well.

Croatia forwards isn't playing at top tier leagues, that's one of Croatia problems to build a great squad.
