Suazo is part of "Inter Forever"Cordoba and Suazo (of all people) were also in the stands.
Bring Hakimi back!

Not necessarily true. It applies to a few, but most players didn't come for the money. They came because it was too good to pass a chance at playing for Inter. Plus their wives had a say since they wanted to live in Milano instead of Liverpool, Manchester, Valencia, La Coruña, Marseille, Lyon, Munich, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Rome or Turin over the years.True for the newer set of players like hakimi but sneijder and most others who joined under moratti very much came here for the money
Yeah my point was more that under moratti we were on of the top spenders in salary terms...Not necessarily true. It applies to a few, but most players didn't come for the money. Inter under Moratti was a top 5-6 destination for players. And it wasn't about the money. Others paid better. Moratti did pay well but he paid his stars well, everyone else weren't really higher earners than those at rival clubs.
Of course they wouldn't come on a discount, but they weren't asking Inter to match higher bids. They were usually happy with our terms.
to be honest, i feel like quite a lot of those players - Inter was the chance for redemption/one last big adventure. Bearing in mind we had Mourinho, and we were taking some players like Sneijder who was effectively a RM reject, Milito who was never really given a chance at the top level, Eto'o was being forced out of Barca..True for the newer set of players like hakimi but sneijder and most others who joined under moratti very much came here for the money
Yes but we had to heavily convince sneijder that he even joined us and if we would not have offered him a top contract he would not have joined either...to be honest, i feel like quite a lot of those players - Inter was the chance for redemption/one last big adventure. It wasnt like a truly top team in the sense of the biggest players in the world in 2010, but it was a very well assembled team
I don't think those midtable premierleague clubs can pay our top players much higher salariesYes but we had to heavily convince sneijder that he even joined us and if we would not have offered him a top contract he would not have joined either...
Eto'o was earning a shit ton when he signed for us and again would not have joined had he had to take a massive salary cut.
Yes they got a redemption chance which is why they fell in love with inter IMHO cause it eventually worked out for both sides.
Again back then neither of em would have earned more joining the 4th or 5th placed PL team...
Meanwhile the likes of lauti broo and barella coule easily earn 20-30% more joining a top epl club...
I mean look at the skriniar situation this would have never happened with moratti cause he would have just matched or at the very least almost matched the psg offer.....
We still are like a top 10 spender in salariesYeah my point was more that under moratti we were on of the top spenders in salary terms...
You would not earn significant more in the epl like it is now the case......
Like you would have earned more at real/manu and chelsea when they got taken over but thats about it.
That does not mean we overpaid em all
yeah we re like 11th again under moratti we easily were top 5...... theres a huge difference.. also under moratti tha gap to the top spenders was probably quite small..We still are like a top 10 spender in salaries![]()
Seeing players like Hakimi seemingly still being very fond of this club after spending just one season here gives me a lot of hope
Of course, there's a huge gap now which is fucking up the sport.yeah we re like 11th again under moratti we easily were top 5...... theres a huge difference.. also under moratti tha gap to the top spenders was probably quite small..
Now the club with the 5th highest wage bill(MANU) pays over 100 mio more per year than we do divide that shit by a 23 man quad and on average we pay fucken 4 mio less per player than MANU does... That is a pretty massive gap under moratti the gap was not nearly as big...
Of course this shit is pretty top heavy but you get the point....
Also i think those are last years numbers and MAnu actually spent 120 mio more than us on wages....
afaik nothing decided yetwhat happened to his rape case? If he was found not guilty we should ask for a loan + they pay half his wages. Or a Dumfries straight swap
Marotta, makes it happen.According to the Gazzetta, Hakimi wants an exit from the Parc des Princes. The newspaper report that he is in fact keen to make a return to Inter.
