Umm....hockey players here in Canada get drunk pretty much after every Saturday night game, and no one makes a big deal out of it not even our media, and it doesn't affect the players at all. You guys are a bunch of bitches crying because someone took a picture of Adri with a beer in his hand.

LMAO!

Again, he can drink all he likes if he plays well...

But the point is he uses it as an excuse for not playing well. Has been doing it for the past 2 YEARS.

it's christmas ffs.. he's not in rehab at all.. a training and recovery programme, and now on loan.

a few beers aren't going to make him gain 5kg or so that he's lost are they.

He looks in good shape and it's hardly like he's heavy drinking by having a few heavy beers... for a guy who used to drink a few bottles of champagne ;)

so it's ok for other players to be drunk but not him? double standards slightly. Surely by ur method of thinking they'd suddenly lose their condition too.

I thought Brazil was an hour ahead of us not a whole week.

Adriano went clubbing! I'm pretty sure that's how things started for him, a simple drink turned into 2 then 3 then bottles of alcohol.

Can you name me one other player of ours who has been confirmed to be drunk?! From the soruces I have (channel4; goal.com) It's only been Adriano.
What was the point of him going to rehab if he was just going to have a "little" drink immediately afterwards?! Has he even completed the process?!

Maybe if he was in a banquet and had a few glasses of champagne it would be okay, but the fact that he was seen with a beer in every single picture shows that he obviously had a fair amount of them.

When/if he ever returns starts scoring and leads us to a UCL or Scudetto and has the occasional party and drink session then it will be deemed okay but now Adriano is in no position to be at a concert, drinking after promising us he would try to stop doing that! He is nothing but a liar!

Agree with Katie..just spotted with a beer...not like he is on marijuana

Weed's effects are temporary and most athletes take it as a relaxant. Ever heard of someone dying from a car accident because someone was under the influence of weed?! I would have definitely preferred him to be on weed because I'm pretty sure his career would have been in a better state than it is now.

It is almost as if Adriano believes that because he is in Brazil, far away from the city of Milan and Inter, that his actions are not going to be monitored and that given that he is at a new club on a 6 month loan period that he can do as he chooses. The sad part for Adriano is that if he fails to show that he is back on track in Brazil then he will have no future at Inter. Thus far, all the talk of a new start has come to nothing.

How can you be sure all pictures of Adriano are with the same bottle in hand? Perhaps he had one all night or all the pictures was taken within the space of say 15 minutes or 30? It's easy for the journalist to say "this was Adriano throughout the whole evening/night". Be a critic.

The media creates a fuzz about Adri's clubbing because he is prone to cause hysteria. He attracts more readers. It's all about selling papers you know.

It is as much about the alcohol as his commitment to rehabilitation. However, the pictures prove nothing - having a few cans of beer at a party is a normal thing, you know. He isn't going to gain massive pounds nor lose his determination to regain fitness with that.

The unfortunate thing about Adriano is his magnetism for controversy. His fall from grace is perfect tabloid fodder; therefore, everything he does is certainly going to be hyped beyond what it is.

Ciao,
Tim

Agree with Rockball, just leave the guy alone damn it!
He is not our player at the moment, until June 2008, let Sao Paulo fans put up with him and his actions, we will see where he stands on June. I'm sure you all will be hugging and calling his name. Remember that.

nyall.. about the drunks.. my cousin works in a certain club in milano.. so i trust what he says ;)

to be honest most of ours and milans team visit this club so is nothing new at all.

and again, trust me, this is an improvement with adriano. A few bottles of champagne in a night was a big deal. A small can or 2 of beer is nothing.

Adriano and Ronaldo drinking during the party

Referring to the first photo:

All I gotta say is "G-gggg UNIT!!!"

Anyway, I have a feeling that Adriano will be back. I will the the ultimate rags to riches story, or in this case bench warmer to starter story.

As someone had written earlier we shoul leave Adriano alone, and let him get back when he feel he is ready to do so, and not a minute before.

It dosn't help him nor the club if we put pressure on him to get back imediatly, we have to give him all the time he needs or he will never be to any use for the club, nor will he never find the joy to play football again.

As it looks now the right thing for him, is to be with the ones he loves, and find out how he will sort out his problems, if that means quitting football so be it, as long as he is satisfied with his life, then it's really all that matters.

The placement of players is entirely arbitrary, anyway. If we base judgment solely on statistics, then Ronaldo definitely deserves to be in La Grande Inter with Recoba; the converse situation applies too.
