He was terrible. Should never play in the starting eleven ever again. He can be played as a backup, or if there isn't any other solution to LCB or LWB positions, but as a first choice, hell no.

D'Ambrosio was trash, Perisic was trash and ect. But Kolarov was terrible, worst player and the key figure of Inter's failures so far.

Key figure of inters failures so far is conte. He played this man out of position so you cant expect kolarov to flourish when you are put in a position to fail to begin with.

We ALL see Kolarov is trash defensively, slow, little gas... even before he comes here. He never should play anywhere except left-back (position of which 3-5-2 don't have :palm: )

I have hoped Conte would somehow shield his weaknesses, but he chose...Perisic covering Kolarov. A recipe of disaster.

That's not a choice if you have no one other than Perisic, though.

He could have chosen a proper left WB instead of starting the season with Perisic. At least, Biraghi.

Kolarov is (rightfully) getting a lot of trash for his defensive fuckups. He has cost us a few goals, and the 3 points against Milan were purely on him.

But I'm surprised no one has commented on his corners against Borussia. He delivered a some very good ones, one of which led to the equaliser. That must be the only time where we have had few quality corners delivered consistently.

We have to bring him on late in matches purely for this.

I think bringing him on late in matches at the LWB role is his only legitimate use in this squad. He still has a lot of quality in his left foot.

We cant afford to have a player who is just good at set pieces, we are not Roma. Not even as a backup.

Tbh it's not a bad game. Going forward he's even more involved than De Vrij. Okay for him to play against Parma. The loss wasn't on him this time.

We cant afford to wait for him to cost us a whole game (he did in derby and almost did against Fiorentina) to realize he is not good enough even against midtable teams. It was a shitshow by him toward the end of the match misplacing so many passes and doing too many wrong decision, thank Pinanonti for winning a free kick in a good position.

Definitely one of the worst signings in the last few years.

Honestly thought he was okay today. This is the type of match we should be using him. Seemed like our most dangerous chances started with his left foot.

I thought Kolarov was decent today. He should have had 3 assists today instead of 1 if our finishing was half decent. Some of his passes were pretty good, specially that long one that Hakimi headed over.

He was decent because it was Parma winning at Meazza. He's still the same disastrous player when played out of position.

I have no fucking idea why Conte doesn't temporarily switch to back four when all what he has available is exactly 2 CBs, 1 RB and 1 LB.

Report: Inter banned Kolarov from Serbia game

According to reports in Serbia, Inter banned Aleksandar Kolarov from playing in the crucial Euro 2020 play-off defeat to Scotland.

The game ended 1-1 and was eventually decided on penalties in Belgrade, with Scotland qualifying for the tournament next summer.

Now MozzartSport.com claim that Kolarov did not feature because Inter and their medical staff refused to let Serbia play him.

Kolarov had a slight injury that kept him out of the most recent Serie A draw with Atalanta, so Inter would not give the all-clear so soon afterwards, as they were afraid of a relapse.

The report states that Kolarov did not want to enter into a collision course with his club, so after several days of tests in training as part of their starting XI, the call came just three hours before kick-off.

The Nerazzurri then recalled the 35-year-old to Milan for treatment, so he won’t take part in the next game against Hungary either.
