i dont mind dambro staying but this guy literally offered nothing last season...

I can only assume we'd be doing this because we actually need any plusvalenza off dimarco that we can get

I keep reading Inter is broke, but how a broke club keep and pay the players who offer nothing to this club?

Actually not even nothing, they cost Inter points and matches! Basically you pay these players to fuck you up! Why do you do that?! I can't really understand the logic behind this.

we are so broke that we prefer to stay with trash Kolarov, because we can get some money for Dimarco. I thought lack of money will force us to invest in younger players, but apparently we prefer to remain all the old guys and sell the youngsters. Thankfully Ashley Young rejected the contract's extension.

They see also this guy was an important locker-room guy. He will get 50% reduction to his salary, from 3m$ to 1.5m€.

Still, we are basically banking on Bastoni staying fit all year long. Kolarov didn't start any match after Parma 2-2 draw (apart from two Coppa games). That however doesn't tell would he have played better after we changed the system how we play (after Torino match). We switched to lower block in defence and tighter defending in midfield.

So we need to hope he's NOT a disaster like he seemed to be at the start of the season. Since the thing was, our defending as a whole was a disaster at the start of the season, it changed only after Torino.

We are broke because we keep throwing money out of the windows like this.
Like when we signed for ESL and suffered 5m penalty for no reason.
Like give Conte 7m gift.
Look, next we will pay Nainggolan and Vidal to leave.
We are broke so we have to sell best players. To cover the stupidity. To spend on trash. Spend on parasites.
If Kolarov extends, I quit. I won't wasting my time to support this kind of shit. What is happening this summer is TOO MUCH.

Well at least this guy offers this
44.jpg

A decisive match last season that changed our course.

Considering our current buying power, it is difficult to find players in that position that also accept backup role.
On a side note, Darmian did said that Kolarov is also a leader off the pitch.

Also, I don't think we would deploy Di Marco as LCB anyway, although he could, doesn't mean he is good in that position.
Di Marco play as LCB 13 times last season (W3, D5, L5). Verona is in awful form in the second half of the season.

Keeping Dimarco as backup LWB would be fine as he could backup Bastoni too with Kolarov. In a situation where Bastoni injures himself, we wouldn't have to rely on Kolarov 100% of the time.

yep, we have bunch of hot prospects. There are Agoume, Sebastiano Esposito, Pirola and Dimarco who gained experience in other clubs last season. And there are few interesting players in our Primavera like Satriano, Kinkoue, Casadei, Oristanio. But probably all of them will be sold to amass budget for bumps like Nandez or Silvestri.

We need to reduce costs, currently we don't have a luxury to spend much on the backups.
Paying out Conte 7m is better than full 14m if he decided to stay away for a season like Spallo or even worst he could take it to the court like he did to Chelsea (which he won).
As for Nainggolan and Vidal, we need to cut losses, their compensation is inevitable. Not all transfer works out as we thought.
