I may be the only one who is not against him. I know he is washed but, let's see. His total cost is 3m.
He will be the backup to Bastoni (maybe even the 3rd backup - Dambro and Darmian can also play his position) or the 3rd backup to Perisic/Dimarco.
What other possibilities did we had? Buy a cheap option? The total cost would be probably the same and eventual a longer contract.
Give his slot to a younger player. If we have that player would be not better to find him a team where he can play and develop?

The other possibilty is to cut him for good and don't bring any other player. Play Dambro or Darmian as a backup. With so many games, risky.
