It is like saying contracting pneumonia is okay if you already contracted cancer. Our management is an idiot to grant hefty sums for Dzeko and De Vrij. Still, it is not a justification to give an absurd contract for Bastoni. The solution should be stop giving an extravagant contracts instead of granting overly generous salary to everyone.

Regarding Bastoni, he's simply not showed enough to be 6m defender yet. If he takes up the role of a leader of Inter's defence, he can earn it or more. Depending on our finances of course.

If he wants like 7m now, we needs to leave Inter.

Yes 6 mil is high for Serie A however I am fairly sure they will meet somewhere in the middle or maybe just work on some bonus.

I think your getting your gross/net salaries mixed in italy usually net is reported in england gross so those 6 mio translate to 12mio in the EPL...
As in the 6 mio is pretty much equal to what van Dijk gets.....

Those are before tax.
Even in the EPL there are only about 4 defenders earning €6 mil after tax.
