Contracts determine who stays and who leaves.

I would still argue though that Arnautovic is more useful for Inzaghi than Sanchez. Arnautovic can provide more things for the coach he wants on a regular basis. Issue with Arnautovic could be his mental thoughness but if he can provide a breather for the starters here and there, that should be enough.

Alexis scored 4x in 31 games last season... 6 goals 2 years before that in 33 games for us... 7 in 35 the year before that for us ......

for his wages... that just not enough. Honestly one of my favorite players ever before he came here. Think you are remembering him before Man U turned him to shit. He wasnt the worst player in the world but didnt warrant his $$$$$

I dont disagree, but my point is, you're suggesting we get a youth player, promote them, and they replace the goals from arnautovic + sanchez for us - that's 11 goals last year, have we *ever* had a first 1/2 seasons from a youth player who scored 11 goals for us? Martins did in his 2nd season (1st full season), but thats the only one that jumps to mind

I don't remember Inter played young players enough as a backup, rotational starter, or regular starter, let alone score a lot of goals since Moratti/Facchetti regime. The club only had signed a (mature/old) star since then.
