Good transfer for our circumstances.

This is almost the final piece in the squad. I would've been really pissed if we stopped our transfers at Lukaku, but adding Sanchez and getting rid of the massive logs like Mario and Barboba (specially selling the latter for a surprisingly high fee which is awesome) has turned our transfers into a positive one imo.

I have nothing against Sanchez' age or past. He's not old, has learned football in Serie A, and maaaaany players have managed to rise their careers somewhere else specially at Inter.

Final piece would be a strong midfielder. Without it, it's going to be yet another tough season where we'll depend on the form of rival teams.

But this is finally a transfer that gives us quality that can win matches that seem unwinnable or lost, assuming he gets on the right mindset. Last player with this quality (but nowhere near in terms of overall ability) was Stevan Jovetic, which speaks volumes about how we acted in the mercato.

I would love to add a great midfielder and call it a perfect mercato, but I don't think it's financially possible at the moment because of the Icardi situation. Maybe after selling him we can (hopefully) think of SMS. That would be just perfect.

I like Sensi, Barella and Brozovic but yeah we need one more.

I'd urge people not to get their hopes up. This is a real gamble. His legs looked completely shot at United. Flashes of quality were there but he's also very wasteful.

Hopefully Serie A brings out the best in him. I don't want to see him used on the wings where his lack of pace is more of an issue.
