Really needs to play more. He gives us creativity in the top half of the pitch that no one else does. He loses the ball a lot but damn he can still make things happen even at his age.

What was he moaning about when he got subbed? Agree that he should stay on though. Lautaro should have been the one to come off
Yeah, he was muttering to himself and pissed that he was subbed off. I think he really needs to score a goal and this match, against 10 men, was an opportunity missed/cheated out of in his mind IMHO.

Yeah strange decision to take off Sanchez at the time. Just let that guy play and score a goal. It would do much good for his attitude and he was playing good yesterday.

I couldn't understand that sub either. What purpose did it serve? To get minutes to Correa?

At least he had an assist (that was pretty dope)

Should be happy about that at least

That was exactly the purpose. Whether we agree with it or not, Correa is ahead of Sanchez in Inzaghi's pecking order so he needed to get playing time against Empoli. I am expecting Correa to start against Udinese.

If he wants to play, he needs to stop getting injured (retire from the NT), we can't even count on him to rest our starters, much less to play an integral part of the team when he's always getting injured at the worst times.

Would you retire from your only sure source of minutes?

I hope he starts today again, 2 games in a row would be really good for him. Hopefully if he does he can change an assist into a goal :)

Looked pissed again today when subbed on. Prolly thinking, "Aha let me show Correa how to win a game". Correa scored twice and Alexis went, "Shit, now I'll have to keep dribbling to run the clock down again"

FCInterNews reports an offer has arrived from MLS, with a two-year deal until December 2023 prepared for the former Barcelona star.

Sanchez was given a chance from the first minute against Empoli and contributed an assist in the 2-0 win last week, while he entered to play the final 25 minutes against Udinese on Sunday.

But the report doesn’t rule out a transfer in January and claims he has been given a possible exit route by a team in the American league.

The 32-year-old, however, is convinced he can still contribute in the top leagues in Europe and is not planning to end his career in a minor league.

Very happy for him today, he got a goal and was an immediate spark for the team when he came on.

What an energy this guy has when comes in. Should have more playing time but i guess Inzaghi keeps his weird fetish on Dzeko, and has something against Alexis.

I don't think Inzaghi disliked Alexis per se. But unfortunately it's a binary choice between him and Lautaro. Given that we really need a centre forward up front, it doesn't make sense to rely on Dzeko+Alexis from a team building perspective.

Fantastic display today. Showed more hunger and definitely more clinical. I wouldn't mind seeing a Dzeko+Alexis start against Milan That should surprise Pioli. Simone has been a little too predictable lately.
