I love Sanchez. He is the most talented player we have, and even largely as an impact sub he is a key reason why we won last season and are top this season.

Isn't his contract with us until 2023? Thats perfect. He is worth every penny we pay him. And he is getting old. I say let the contract run its course. No reason to let him go this summer, and no reason to extend his contract. Why fix something that ain't broken?

I think we have a chance to squeeze some money for him, and that is the reason why Marotta will try to sell him in the summer. In addition to relieve the burden of his heavy salary.

If you check the Intercontinental cup history, most times it was the runner up of the European Cup that played this, because the champions were afraid. But in general the way of playing in South America is very dirty compared to the very prude European football of today. Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru etc would be considered very dirty by European standards.

Wonder if that will get Vidal/Sanchez to retire from the NT. A Sanchez who no longer doing NT duty is def a player we should keep if he'll take lower wages. I just don't think he would do that to his NT. If he can walk and they call him he will go.
