I love Sanchez. He is the most talented player we have, and even largely as an impact sub he is a key reason why we won last season and are top this season.

Isn't his contract with us until 2023? Thats perfect. He is worth every penny we pay him. And he is getting old. I say let the contract run its course. No reason to let him go this summer, and no reason to extend his contract. Why fix something that ain't broken?

I think we have a chance to squeeze some money for him, and that is the reason why Marotta will try to sell him in the summer. In addition to relieve the burden of his heavy salary.

All good. They play Argentina and Bolivia, so no Cuadrado dirty type of players around.

haha Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are the two dirtest teams in South America. Just because you guys all have hard ons for Argie players doesn't mask what they do. They just don't get booked for shit. Neymar headbutted a FKING ref and didn't get a yellow card ! Or even fined ! You think Juve has it easy when it comes to ref. Watch a Brazil or Argentina game. Off sides, ref assisted goals, clear fking karate kicks fouls...

Uruguay are definitely #1. Argentina have always been one of those. European clubs feared playing against clubs from these two countries. If you check the Intercontinental cup history, most times it was the runner up of the European Cup that played this, because the champions were afraid. Ajax won 3 in a row but only featured in one of those

But in general the way of playing in South America is very dirty compared to the very prude European football of today. Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru etc would be considered very dirty by European standards.

I don't think that is true... when we play against Euro teams they always pullshit and get away with it. "bigger" NTs get away with stuff then cry. Or you guys don't remember the BS Totti and De Rossi would do at world cups?

Brazil hit Colombia with dirty fouls for 70 minutes then Zuniga went rage mode and went full on Street fighter by Doing Sagats Knee kick on Neymars bitch ass. Since then everyone's like OMG Colombia is the dirtiest team of all time. Neymar said he spine was broken then was shown at a club 3 days later

Best player on the field. Suck for him that Chile will most likely not make the world cup.

Sanchez & Vidal have already contributed to 17 goals this season despite being back ups. Their contributions are a key reason why we are on top.
This and
Man of the match today. He’s the most talented player we have despite what some people may think.
This! I totally agree. He is the X factor that can unlock defences when teams park the bus. Just look at that beautiful pass Vidal wasted...

This is a screenshot I took: can`t help but notice how ripped Alexis recently became!

I truly hope his stronger build will help him stay fit, because he adds another dimension to our attack.

If they lose the next game they are out. I think Bravo cost them the WC... those 2 goals he should have done better.

Wonder if that will get Vidal/Sanchez to retire from the NT. A Sanchez who no longer doing NT duty is def a player we should keep if he'll take lower wages. I just don't think he would do that to his NT. If he can walk and they call him he will go.

If they don't make the World Cup, it's still acceptable to keep him on lowered wages, since the WC is from 21st November till 18 December.
