Please, would anyone tell me precisely how he played in Porto ? Was he really good fullback ?
He has stamina, but with his crossing and speed are crap. If he keeps on playing like this, he really is the flop for 13 million transfer.

Pretty much the same as now, a little better defensively. The thing is that he looked better in Portugal because he had much more space so his stamina, speed and physicality were more effective but he has always been technique impaired, his crosses had always been average at best and very unintelligent player.

In Porto he had strikers in the box to cross to anyway. Falcao, Hulk were present in the box, so he just had to cross to them. I often see him running to the end line, trying to cross, but nobody's even there to head. Shame Milito is now off, Pereira would seem to play a lot better if he could cross to Milito.

I love Milito, but he wouldn't have scored more than a half-dozen goals with his head since joining us.

No we bought him straight out. Yuto's injury is a big chance for him to stake his claim for that starting LB spot. I think if he doesn't perform the next couple of games he's probably on his way out the end of the season.
