Not sure this is realistic. Eriksen would have to accept a massive paycut to join Ajax. Maybe he's prepared to collect his money from Inter and retire.

AAIUI there's some clause about whether he can be registered or not. If he's not capable of performing the services required (e.g. legally cana not be medically registered), then we can terminatae without cause.

There's no pressure to terminatea right now as he's covered by FIFA insurance payout for his salary, so we can sit on it for almost the season to wait and see, but its very apparent IMHO now there's no way he'll ever play again in Italy.

Ajax goalkeeper André Onana breaks the silence and mentioned Barcelona as a possible destination. ‘I want to play every week, which is why I value the sporting aspect’.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly reached an agreement with the goalkeeper, who’s on an expiring contract.

Onana’s deal expires in June 2022 and Barcelona have reportedly joined the chase for his signature ahead of 2022-23.

Inter have pushed for Onana to replace Samir Handanovic at the Giuseppe Meazza, but the Ajax goalkeeper might have another priority.

“We have various options,” Onana admitted in an interview with Sport. “Nobody knows what can happen when you are in this position, because there are no certainties in football.

“We are waiting to see which project we will like the most, it’s important to give value to the sporting aspect.

“Barcelona are one of the top teams in the world: I want to play every week, which is why I value the sporting aspect.”

He had to say it like this so it doesn`t look like he has agreement before the rules allow it. But we all know he promised himself to Inter.
