If you watched him closely, you'd see that he's extremely prone to errors, either by being cocky with the ball or by being really bad at goalkeeping (bad exits for the ball, miscommunicating with the defense etc).


You'd need a lot of dedication to make something like that and I doubt anyone cares, Ajax fans liked the guy and they were winning so it's not like he was a catalyst for them missing out on trophies, aside from the CL semi and the EL final of course, but they weren't expected to win those I guess.

I have a feeling it will either turn into a Frey deal or a JC deal.
The stuffs he is bad at, is the key determining factor, either he learns the importance of it and adapt/improve, or he will become James or Reina type of keeper level.

Given Inter's history of Great GK, he will be fine.

Hopefully he does, I would not want Onana to think Inter is easy. He should have a mindset to keep improving or Handa comes back as first choice until we find another keeper who can handle number 1 spot.

Pretty poor performance from cameroon vs a side playing with a makeshift goalie and 10 men(comores captain send off in the 7th minute)

Save from today. His leap makes it seem harder than it was - one of the reasons I don't rate him that high, he's making saves look flashy for no reason - but good stop nonetheless.

Can't blame him for the goal, it was a clean strike. Could have had a better position but it was a tight goal, not many could have stopped it.
