I don’t think you know much about the sport…If Onana was on his line, it would have been an easy shot straight at goal for Sane. Remember how Brozovic scored on the weekend? The Milan gk was on his line and all it took was a straight shot on goal to score. The same would have happened here.I said it was partly his fault, which it was. I felt he was too far out of his goal, thereby got caught out and thus made it easier for Sane.
Glad to see someone else is being realistic about his performance though.
I didn’t say he had to be on his line — don’t feel it would‘ve been that easy either, although Sane probably would‘ve buried it anyway — but make him beat you & give yourself a chance to save. Anyway, looked to me like he could’ve done better, but then again I’m not blessed with your footballing wisdom.I don’t think you know much about the sport…If Onana was on his line, it would have been an easy shot straight at goal for Sane. Onana was exactly where he needed to be given the circumstances..
He forced Sane to go to all the way to his side to beat him and Dumfries almost got the ball in the end. That was literally on our defense for falling asleep on that play.
This. But what really struck was his ability for long passes.
It really wasn’t. JC came in as an understudy/ bench option but he impressed in training, played 1 or 2 games in the league and that was that. Toldo was thankfully benched. Toldo’s status/ bitching got him the CL and coppa games. One of my few memories of toldo is him coming out and fucking up a catch from a Villarreal cross that got us dumped out of the CL that season 🤣😂I really hope this is going to turn out like JC and Toldo, it was more like a rotation between the two back then when it started too, but let Onana start more please.

Mancini at least had the brains just to bench toldo in the league. Inzaghi on the other hand needs the sack if he’s gonna put standstill on goals while a better keeper now sits on the bench
Also remember when in 2003 I think Quarter Finals Champions League and Toldo went mad at Dibiagio and grabbed him by the neck lol..It really wasn’t. That's what was reported on the media few days ago. Onana is expected to start against Plzen. Unless one of our GKs has a major blunder ala Radu, i think it's a good way to manage them.Hopefully will play the CL games.
We should demand 100 m, if Kepa is worth 80...I don’t believe Onana will be at Inter long. He is more suited for the EPL, where his ability with the ball at his feet is more appreciated.
